Shameful and disappointing. My sales experience was very good. I have purchased two vehicles in the past two years, and they have both been good experiences. The sales staff My sales experience was very good. I have purchased two vehicles in the past two years, and they have both been good experiences. The sales staff was helpful and knowledgeable. They fixed a few deficiencies quickly and without issue. Service is so-so. Service reps are rude at times. The service manager is rude, unpleasant, and somewhat annoying. He has an unprofessional and unkempt appearance. He grinds away at the finish of your headlights that are dirty with his shirt sleeve, etc. Warranty. They do not warranty what they sell. They seem to guard every nickel unless Ford backs them up. I heard many different versions and offered various "deals" and gambles on an obviously defective part. Nothing has been damaged, altered, misused, or modified. They have dug in and refused to replace it unless I carry the bulk of the cost. At one point, they actually wanted me to pay upfront for the new part while they sent the defective part to Ford. The idea is that I may get reimbursed but with guesses at various percentages of success. By doing so, I was expected to keep the new part. Unbelievable! They have cited various reasons for not covering it and providing incomprehensible explanations. I've bought a lot of vehicles and never had an experience as disappointing and insulting as this. Many other dealers from other manufacturers have replaced items on my other cars during the warranty period and have not necessarily been reimbursed in whole or in part for their expenses from the manufacturer. I've had this happen at two separate Honda dealers, a Nissan dealer, and even another Ford Dealer in another province. In these instances, the dealers cared for their customers and genuinely wanted to earn their customer's business. And there is Northstar Ford. I ended up emailing the owner, CEO, Principal, or whatever he is. He told me today that they "do not warranty vehicles." This could be a mistake, as his communication is atrocious. He may view the vehicle himself, but I doubt it. I'm finished driving to this dealer to get treated like garbage. I've spent over $120k on vehicles in the past two years from Northstar Ford, and I'm done with spending one more cent on sales, parts, and service. That goes for Calgary, Cochrane, Fort MacMurray, or anywhere else they own or operate. They do well enough to put themselves ahead of their customers. More

Worst experience ever with Ford. I have been purchasing Ford vehicles in Alberta and B.C. since 1981, and Northstar Ford Calgary are by far the most unprofessional and unethical For I have been purchasing Ford vehicles in Alberta and B.C. since 1981, and Northstar Ford Calgary are by far the most unprofessional and unethical Ford dealership I have had the displeasure of dealing with. I am buying out of province, vehicle sight unseen, and paid in good faith a $1,000 deposit on the vehicle. The same day, financing fell through, so I was unable to proceed with the purchase. Northstar Ford Calgary have refused to reimburse me the deposit, so I am left $1,000 out of pocket. During the purchase process, the salesman called and text constantly. Since I have requested the deposit back, all e-mails and voice-mails are ignored. If you're looking for a dealership that values customer service and acts in a responsible, ethical and moral manner , I would advise you to look elsewhere. I was forced to give a star rating, which is far too generous, this dealership should have a negative star rating that customers can select, More

Very unprofessional sales staff that will try to stick you with the retail price telling you that they can't change the price only to have another sales person call you a few days later with a price that' you with the retail price telling you that they can't change the price only to have another sales person call you a few days later with a price that's $2000 lower to get you to buy the car. They will then give you an inspection report that is a complete sham. Insist on having a mechanic of your choosing look at the car. They certainly know how to move lemons. More

I bought a used vehicle from them and they are extremely courteous and professional. Everyone that I dealt with from the salesman (Ahmed) to the finance manager (Mike) and then the delivery coordinator (Tanya) were great. The communication was superb and all of my questions have been answered promptly. Regarding the vehicle itself, it is in amazing condition and it got detailed before delivery. 5 stars. More
