I paid cash 133 days ago, and they have not provided me with permanent plates yet. Last time I heard from them, they said they would have to apply for a bonded title (not clean!) because they didn't actually have the title for the car they sold me. That was almost 2 months ago, and I don't even have that yet. Do not buy a used car from this dealership unless they can show you the title in hand!

Our title office has been working on this title issue as you know for a couple of months now. The customer that traded the vehicle to us was the registered owner but did not have the title in hand which started all of this. We were given some bad information from the customer on how we could apply for a duplicate title.
Very long story short our title clerk found out that we need to get the duplicate title from MA DMV. We will no longer need a bonded title. MA DMV is telling us that that it will take about 2 weeks to get the title from them- email correspondence is below. I know this has been very frustrating for you and us. The good news is that it looks like we finally have a solution. We will be in contact as soon as we have everything needed to complete the registration.
