I went to checkout star nissan and was really pleased by how friendly everyone one. I was greeted by the general manager Gus who was very helpful in finding me the right salesperson to help me with my car needs. I worked with Christopher and after about 20 minutes of back and forth negotiations the deal was done. It was actually quite painless and simple. The next day my car was ready for pickup. The paperwork took only 10 minutes and in no time I was ready to go. Christopher was extremely helpful in assisting me with transferring all of my items from my old car to the new one. He went over every detail about my new and improved rogue. I highly recommend star Nissan! More

I went in with my spouse anairis to buy the Chrysler Sebring , we negotiated the price of the deal with Christopher and Gus, once we paid cash for the car including taxes and dealer fees plus a doc fee it came out to 4040 dollars. Then they came up with an excuse that we wouldn’t be able to get the vehicle same day as they had to prepare it. This seamed fine , so we expected to come back next day. Following day came around and they stated that the inspection failed and they had to drive the car a bit because they changed the battery. This was the first of many lies , because of you change a battery you won’t fail inspection. So we called the dealership that serviced the vehicle over the years based on the carfax. They informed us that the car last time serviced there it had the check engine light and the reason the owner decided to trade it it was because the cost to repair was too high. So then it came Friday and the car wasn’t ready. I told them look I want my money back. Then they had me pay an Uber to give back my receipt, and then come home. The next day I had to take another Uber from the Bronx into bayside to pick up the check. Now the check just to change it i was charged 82 dollars and adding that just to check my money back I had taken a cab averaging a cost of 168 dollars , I lost money because they lie and try to sell you damaged vehicles. I asked if I could get my money the way I gave it to them cash to avoid all these issues and Gus refused. I warn everyone to avoid the headache with this dealer , they are unethical and cheats . I should have never taken a lose trying to buy a car and then adding extra expenses because they didn’t want to be honest and state that the vehicle needed to have the engine repaired. Their carfax aswell are outdated. Ask them for an up to date carfax report or go online and buy one if your serious about buying used here because they will make you waste a ton of time. More
