Buying Experience While it would be disingenuous to delete or edit the initial review of our car buying experience, we decided to provide additional comments regarding While it would be disingenuous to delete or edit the initial review of our car buying experience, we decided to provide additional comments regarding the "service recovery" provided personally by Mr Guy Alfieri after the initial review of our car buying experience with CarSmart.net. After submitting the initial review through DealerRater, Mr Alfieri promptly contacted us and spent extra time on the phone patiently and politely listening to our concerns and learning what issues needed to be addressed. He then graciously accommodated my daughters work schedule to get her car we purchased back in for servicing and also provided my daughter with a loaner car while his service team completed the work he promised would be done. While he could have had another manager contact us, his decision to address our issues personally demonstrated his commitment to provide excellent customer experience. While he cannot change the events that occurred, he seemed genuinely concerned about our experience and has made every effort to provide a completely different perspective of his dealership. Thank you Mr Alfieri ! Initial review posted - "Our first experience with CarSmart.net began when purchasing a car for my daughter and seemed to be off to a great start. Test drove the car and found a couple of things that needed addressed. I was assured that they wold be fixed and in good faith I left and came back later in the day with my daughter and a cashier's check for the exact amount that the manager told me was the 'out the door' total purchase price. However, things took a quick turn south upon our return when the manager I was working with, upon seeing my daughter really liked the car and wanted to purchase it, attempted to increase the his original quoted purchase price by trying to say he initially misquoted the true price. When i remained firm and asked him to honor his word, we then wasted over an hour of time with him going back and forth several times to 'talk with his general manager' whom we never actually saw or heard. Finally after enduring that barrage, he finally agreed to sale us the vehicle at the original price but not fix the problem he initially agreed to fix because it would cost them too much money. We did purchase the vehicle at the original quoted price only because i remained firm and would have left. We have yet to hear from them about scheduling the repair they promised. I am not suggesting not to purchase from this dealership. I am simply stating from my experience that the 'manager' I dealt with was either not a honest man representing this company or he was the front guy for a dishonest owner who preys on buyers once they become emotionally connected with the vehicle they want in an attempt to choose increased his riches over good reputation/name. Get your total purchase price up front and even then be prepared for added costs in the 'finance managers' office because "they are losing money on the deal". Does the owner really have poorly qualified 'managers' running his business or are they assuming all buyers are that naive. Thank God we had our own financing! I can't imagine what it would be like if we needed to rely on them for financing as well." More

I found a vehicle, they had it cleaned up checked out and ready to go, Got my self pre approved with 2 banks before I even walked in and got a lower interest rate with a bank car smart uses. that saved me about 2K. Paperwork was a breeze, plus, I was able to get a unlimited mileage warranty on a truck i bought with high mileage on it.It wasn't cheap but it was cheap insurance in the long run They didn't try to beat me down with paint sealer, bed liner, and all the other crap the other dealers try to shove down your throat. I received 2 working keys, owners manual etc..I left this business feeling great. In the past, it was a pure nightmare buying a car. This experience was 5 star. The place is clean, and easy to find, easy parking. They have their own repair shop which is right in line with what youd find at mercedes benz, bmw, or bentley. Its spotless. The sales people don't gang up on you and try to beat you into buying junk you don't need. The bank I financed with is nationally known, not some off the wall thug money washing operation. Gave me a better rate than USAA. Was told when my new truck would be ready, I showed up, it was sitting ready to go.They even took it through davidson co marta for me..I was greeted by Donnie Hulan, got my keys and left. Now, the reason for my long review is, I work in the legal support industry. I've seen a lot. Honest people getting ripped off, People getting sold things they dont need for extortion level pricing, Getting lied to, made fun of, and basically victimized. This is why buying on the internet became popular. No dealers, or dealer bs. Car smart in Hendersonville re instilled my faith in the fact that there are good places to go to to buy a car or truck etc,When someone does something bad, it comes out sooner or later and you'll tell 10 friends,. When someone does something good, Ill tell all of my friends. In this case, I decided to tell anyone that reads this that this is an awesome place to buy a car suv or truck at. He went above and beyond to help diagnose the issues with my old car, get me something beautiful to drive in the meantime, and find my DREAM car within a week! He found exactly the car I wanted for a great price and is continuing to help me through the financing process. EVERYONE at the dealership has been awesome - Guy, Rey, Tyler, Donnie, and Harold! After the sale they spent a little extra time to make a 2015 model look like it came off the showroom; much more than I expected. They have made the investment in a full service maintenance shop to take care of your future car needs. I truly believe that they want to make CarSmart the first place you think about when looking for a car. More
