THE BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE WE'VE EVER HAD....BY FAR! May-2014 We had our GMC truck totaled in an accident. My husband & I knew it was going to be tough to work everything in under our very tight time frame. We knew we wanted to get another really great truck. But, to get everything from inspection of the totataled truck, a properly estimated payout to us & get a check cut & have it all completed by the insurance co. before I had a scheduled surgery 6 days later & then STILL have enough time to find a "really great truck" that my husband & I both would love, would've been difficult enough! But, we also needed to get our new truck, before I went into the hospital in less than a week! Well, considering our GMC truck LITERALLY saved my husband's life in that accident & he was able to walk away with minor bruises....We started our search by looking at the website online under Reno Buick Gmc Cadillac. (That was a great decision!) We saw 3 or 4 trucks online that we really liked & called Mr. Harold Solano at the dealership.Harold arranged to bring us, ANY 1, OR ALL OF THE TRUCKS WE LIKED FOR A TEST DRIVE! We told him which 1 we preferred the most, & he brought it by at a convenient time & we test drove the truck, & we both loved it! Once we explained everything about the situation, Harold took over & said "Don't worry about anything, we'll get it all handled in time! If the insurance company can come through, so can we at Reno Buick GMC Cadillac!" And he was not kidding! We not only had our newly purchased truck in time, Harold even offered to pick my husband up! Harold offered to bring all of the normal "stack of dealership paperwork" to us, so we wouldn't have to drive down to the dealership from the Spanish Springs area! That's just a level of "Customer Service" that cannot be taught! Harold is genuinely a great full service salesperson, but he's an even greater gentleman! I leased a 2014 Cadillac CTS from him and the service he gave to me was seriously impressive. He wasn't just there to sell a car, he went way beyond any possible expectation and I am sooooo grateful for having worked with Harold. After retiring we planned on doing a lot of traveling. Gas prices had already diminished our plans so we bought a small new 2011 Dodge Crew with an expectation of getting good gas mileage. We were surpris Gas prices had already diminished our plans so we bought a small new 2011 Dodge Crew with an expectation of getting good gas mileage. We were surprised to find the gas mileage was not much better than the old car (2002 Cadillac Escalade) we traded in and it was very uncomfortable. The seats were not built for comfort; after a couple of hours riding it was necessary to stop and walk around. When turning a corner it always felt like the car was going to roll over. It did have some great electronics but it felt like we were riding in a tin can. We had also become totally disenchanted with the car dealer (Carson (NV) Dodge Jeep). The low tire indicator kept coming on showing a low tire on the right rear. We took it back to them three times (a 130 mile round each trip) to have the problem checked. When after the second trip we were still having problems I asked if they had dunked the wheel and tire to check for leaks; I was told they had pulled the wheel off, filled it to maximum pressure and all was well. They stated they thought maybe filling to max pressure might have sealed any leak. When the problem continued I took the car back again. On the third trip I was looking at the service work order from the second trip and found a hand written note saying there was a nail in the tire. Nothing had been done about the nail causing us to make the third trip. They pulled the nail out and fixed the leak but because the tires are not covered under the warranty they charged me $42.00 to repair the leak which should have been found on the first trip and by all means on the second trip when the nail was first found. Several other similar problems and long waits at the business while the car was serviced and what seemed to be a poor customer service attitude we decided it was time to go elsewhere. We knew we were upside down in the Dodge but knew we could no longer deal with the car or Carson Dodge Jeep. We stopped at Reno Buick GMC Cadillac and met with Harold Solano. Harold showed himself to be a very professional salesperson. He was knowledgeable of the vehicles on the sales lot and showed us used as well as new vehicles. He had no problem explaining the merits of each vehicle. He worked with us for the best part of the day leaving us with no unanswered questions. We settled for an older car and one we know will get less gas mileage but one we now will be far more comfortable and from the atmosphere and mood of the other employees, we will find far greater comfort in working with the Reno Buick GMC Cadillac staff. More

My Experience with Reno Buick GMC Cadillac was hassle free and great. I purchased a new Acadia Denali and Love it!! Harold the sales person walked me through the entire car and all its features.
