First time new car buyer, and came here since a family
friend works there. Unfortunately, he wasn't there that day. Went in to test drive the new Civic sport, and came out with a brand new car. Hamdija w
friend works there. Unfortunately, he wasn't there that day. Went in to test drive the new Civic sport, and came out with a brand new car. Hamdija was very friendly, but also very sales pushy to the point of feeling uncomfortable. All I wanted to do was test drive the car, and get a quote for pricing options to compare to other vehicles I was interested in, not purchase the same day. After my wife and I kept saying we need time to think things over, and just needed a day and pleading from H., he got his sales manager over and felt like I was backed into a corner, I couldn't say no. They wouldn't take no for an answer, they kept trying to have us take the car with us to do the rest of our errands. They also up charge for coating that's already on the car and you can't get it off. Am I happy with my car at the end of the day yes, but the experience makes me very uneasy and not sure if I'll ever buy a new car from Rapids. Since buying there's been no follow up from him.
I've also already had to bring my car in for service due to a glitch, and the service advisor, Shawn, was not personable at all. He seem annoyed that I was there and I felt very rushed as well which doesn't help the experience. I'm not sure if I'll be contacted for routine maintenance intervals/ and auto butler applictions in the future or if I'm supposed to keep track of that myself. It might have been just me but overall I fell like I wasn't explained things very well on top of my experience makes me feel very uneasy.
