Mr. Harold Shelby provided exceptional service during my car buying process. He was very patient and thoroughly reviewed each vehicle that I was interested in seeing. BMW of Silver Spring is the most professional dealership that I have dealt with in these “modern times” on the internet . Unlike the majority of dealerships on the web that are crooked and only trying to trick and scam you, BMW of Silver Spring is EXACTLY the OPPOSITE. BMW of Silver Spring treated me with total respect and honesty. I got a great car at a great price. Everyone I dealt with at the dealership was professional and polite to me. They went out of their way to make me feel like a valued customer and that they were a trusted partner in my purchase. Thanks especially to Harold my Client Advisor and John the Sales Manager. I have been purchasing cars for over 40 years and would like to say that by far, Harold Shelby working for BMW of Silver Spring, MD ,is the best client advisor (salesman) the I have ever had the fortune to like to say that by far, Harold Shelby working for BMW of Silver Spring, MD ,is the best client advisor (salesman) the I have ever had the fortune to work with. He reflected the positive vibe that is reflected in the Silver Spring showroom where we were immediately welcomed by a very friendly and positive recptionist. That is not always the case in some dealerships. Harold was highly knowledgeable, professional, and just a great person who really cared about my wife and me. He has the calm easy demeanor that would easily make anyone feel at home in the buying experience. My wife test drove three late model year cars with me; a 740i, 850i and M550i. My wife preferred the M550i (I wanted a 750i), but the M550i model we wanted had just been sold. Several dealers in the D.C area had cars with the options we wanted, so I told Harold I'd look at those first. As most all dealerships understand, once a shopper leaves the showroom without a sale, the likelihood of the customer returning and buying is very low. Harold showed us a beautiful 540i, but we preferred a car that was out as a loaner. I told him if the other cars we were going to see didn't work out, we would be back to look at the low mileage 2023 540i xDrive. His demeanor never changed. He remained friendly, positive, professional, and easy going. What a great gentleman. Harold is a passionate BMW owner and client advisor, and just easy to ask hard questions to. The day after I spoke with another dealership, there was a significant price increase in the cars we liked. That really put us off on that dealership, which also had very mixed reviews. The Silver Spring prices remained the same, and Harold guaranteed us the price we were looking for. Harold then drove the 540i an hour plus drive to allow a local test drive in Chantilly, Virginia. We committed to the purchase at the agreed to price and set-up the prep and sale of the car at our home. Along the way, during the buying process, Harold let me know I qualified for a BMW USA $4000 military rebate, which was a great surprise. As pricing was being worked, the numbers coming to me were higher that what Harold had received the OK for. Harold immediately told me he would get this fixed. The next person I heard from was a Pedro Delgado, the Director of Financing. Pedro was an absolute professional over the phone, and after several calls to me, helped me correctly get all electronic signatures at the correct price. The Silver Spring BMW just seems to have many great professionals with a very positive vibe that seems to care about the customer. I firmly believe that this organization's strength starts at the top. Great managers and leaders set the tone of an organization. This attitude builds a great team working in a positive way. And I believe friendly, professional treatment of customers results in more sales. I see this environment in the Silver Spring BMW If BMW of Silver Spring has a more client advisors even half as good as Harold Shelby, I would say this dealership is the only BMW dealership in the area to go BMW shopping. Mr. Shelby was extremely patient and kind with me. He allowed me time to figure out what I wanted in a car. He guided me to on-line information that would help me in the decision-making process and patiently answered every question I had. He took time with me each time I visited and on the phone. 4 visits later and I purchased a new I5 and I couldn't be happier. He is now my "forever" salesman. More

I recently bought my first BMW at BMW of Silver Spring. I have owned Audis and Volvos, but their reliability shortcomings led me to BMW. Not knowing what to expect and stressing over my tight budget, I was particular grateful to fall under the care of their top notch sales person, Harold Shelby! Harold emphasized that he was a straight shooter and cared for his customer's sensibilities; and I found that Harold was indeed a man of his word: I bought a very low mileage certified BMW, but Harold took great care over my experience as though he was selling me one of the dealership's more expensive models. He is an old school gentlemen! Made one feel as though they were getting cared for by a 19th century butler (smile). I will certainly be recommending BMW of Silver Spring to all my friends, but I will particularly recommend that they pursue the service of Harold! More

I was in the market for an electric vehicle and I had three makes in mind. The other two dealerships were okay; the service was high pressure and they left little time assess what they had to offer. When I went to the BMW dealership in Silver Spring, I met Mr. Harold Shelby during the renovations of the main showroom. Since this was both my first time buying an EV and a BMW, Mr. Shelby provided me with some materials about the model and advised me to read it over and decide what I wanted. After a week, I returned to the dealership and submitted a deposit for my production number. Once the vehicle arrived, we arranged a time to meet at the dealership where he unveiled the car; it was quite an experience. After the test drive, he and Pedro Delgado went step-by-step through the vehicle setup and the service package. The car is more than impressive and what you would expect from BMW; however, the service provided by Harold Shelby is the kind that can make a difference when it comes to closing the sale. More

The entire process was very smooth and I genuinely feel that they really cared in understanding my needs and my satisfaction. Harold Shelby was always in touch with me listing all the possibilities and with updates on the incoming vehicles and even helped me hold on to the car even after it arrived at the dealership facility as I was out of the country. Mr. Gen Awanohara from the Finance department was really helpful in explaining all the various options that I have and even went an extra mile with recommendations that suit my necessity. I'm beyond satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend this dealership to all my friends and family. More
