Mazda 3 Transmission Repair I would like to highly compliment Freddy Campos on a recent service job for my son's 2008 Mazda 3. While attending school at Cal State San Marcos I would like to highly compliment Freddy Campos on a recent service job for my son's 2008 Mazda 3. While attending school at Cal State San Marcos and living in Escondido my son's Mazda 3 started having transmission problems and the "AT" warning light came on. I had him take it to a AAA approved repair shop in Escondido. After spending $118 for evaluation I was told there was excessive metal and chunks in the trans fluid and they would need to open up the transmission for further evaluation. Worst case would be a $3800 rebuild. I wanted to evaluate what a Mazda factory reconditioned trans would cost at my local Mazda dealer and ended up speaking with Freddy Campos. After getting the VIN, Fredy informed me the problem may be caused by the "TCM"; and if so may be covered by a special warranty existing for this car. It would cost $140 to have it evaluated and I would have to tow it from Escondido. Initially I felt skeptical and called the Mazda dealership in Escondido (less than a mile from where the car sat at the repair shop). The service representative there was less than encouraging about this scenario and did not earn my business, even though it would have been much easier for me. I towed the car to Capistrano Mazda where Freddy was waiting just before closing on a Wed night. He informed me I would not hear from him until Friday. They would need time to do a proper evaluation. Just as he promised, he called on Friday with good news that the TCM would be covered 100% by warranty. In addition there were two other items that had service recalls that were repaired. The job was completed that same day and I picked the car up with a fresh wash. I am very appreciative that Freddy Campos has a thorough knowledge of the product he services including important warranties, and also has the enthusiasm to go the extra mile for his customers. It also appears he has a competent staff of mechanics as Hector Arvizu was successful in completing the repairs in a timely fashion. I don't typically buy brand new cars, but after receiving this level of service I will definitely consider giving Capistrano Mazda my future automotive business. More

I’ve been calling my local Cerritos Mazda dealership for almost a year and the part is “never in” and they’ll call me when they get a new shipment, but the San Juan Capistrano location replaced it no problem. Larry Ulrich, Fredy Campos and Hector Arvizu really took care of me and my car. Drop off and pick up of my vehicle was super fast and hassle free, they even finished with my vehicle a day before assumed. They also checked to see if my transmission was under warranty. Thank you guys so much! Larry, Fredy and Hector, you were amazing. If anything else happens, it’s well worth the drive to have the right people taking care of your vehicle. More

Superb Service! I brought my 2016 CX9 in to have remote start installed. Hector Arvieu did the installation and did an excellent job. The remote start worked perfectly and whoever washes the cars as well, always cleans the exterior and interior of the vehicle immaculately prior to pick up. I was having trouble loading the app on my IPhone for the remote start and even though The service rep, Hector Campos was super busy, he took the time to complete the registration for me. He was so helpful and patient and very professional. I can't thank them all enough. I refer all my friends to Capo Mazda for the exceptional customer service, best vehicles and very reasonable prices for the quality received. Thank you soooo much! More

Service Department Review I am not the type to spend my weekend typing up a review unless it is something utterly terrible or truly amazing. I am glad to report this is to ex I am not the type to spend my weekend typing up a review unless it is something utterly terrible or truly amazing. I am glad to report this is to express the latter of the two, TRULE AMAZING. I am sure I am like every other individual who when getting their car service, we like to get the car fix with as little hassle as possible. Fredy is right on cue with that. He was direct, fast, and effective. I didn't feel I wasted any time working with him and he knew exactly what I needed. More importantly, he made me felt assure that he will get my needs taken care. He went as far as having their Master Tech Hector come out to speak with me and join me on a ride to hear directly what the noises (I complained about hearing noises in my car)I was hearing. Hector was considerate about my irritation about the noise and the excitement he got when he heard it too was unreal! The guy is insanely passionate about fixing the problem for me and assured me that he will get to the root of the issue. I never once ever got that reassurance from a service department before, period. To actually hear that from the master tech, I didn't care how long they had my car for since I knew Hector was on top of it all and he was working on making it perfect for me. From the face of the department Fredy, to the behind the scene with Hector, I just knew I came to the right place to get my car service. Because of the service department, the next car I get I will entertain this dealership to see if the exceptional service and confidence I received will be replicate with their sales team. I will add to this review when I get my next car. *also, Hector did find the issue and fixed it for me. The car was immaculate with no scratches or gaps in the areas they worked on. It was as though the car came out of the factory just like when I got it brand new 6 months ago. I couldn't be more happy. More

Our experience with everyone at Mazda has always been professional and consistent. Freddy Campos and Hector Arvizu in the service department are great to work with and keep our vehicles in top shape. We just bought a CX9 and our sales person Diego Blakey was easy to work and excellent at helping us navigate all the new technologies. Chris in the finance department had everything prepared and ready to go once we made our decision. We are very happy Mazda customers and always recommend Mazda to our friends and family. More
