Hidden info and lack of knowledge The two biggest things that mattered to me in buying a car were the total price and the interest rate. They kept discussing monthly payments and that’s not what I cared most about— I wanted total cost. They refused to tell me until in financing and then tacked on a down payment (which they’d adamantly said would not be required) and then made it seem like they were doing me a favor when removing it. They kept asking if I would give them 10 stars on google or whatever they use, but it was stated in such a way as if they required it to keep moving forward with the transaction. My salesman was friendly but extremely pushy via text and not super knowledgeable... at least I’d like to think it was lack of knowledge and not outright lying that led him to say I had certain features that I most certainly don’t on this vehicle. Hindsight is 20/20 but I should not have purchased vehicle here. More
