My love for BMW started at an early age. My father has always held the brand in the highest regard being an ex-race car and motorcycle driver and working on the sales side of the business for for the last 28+ years. Part of my Senior year of high school was spent living in Germany where I was able to go see the Welt (have been back twice since) and experience BMW on the road in its native environment. Silver lining playbook My wife and I wanted a new X5 and the last three 2018’s were on the showroom floor. I had been in for a quick service to top-off my tires as they ne My wife and I wanted a new X5 and the last three 2018’s were on the showroom floor. I had been in for a quick service to top-off my tires as they needed some nitrogen. When I saw the three cars, I knew one would be ours but since this was my wife’s car, I wanted her to pick the vehicle she liked as the features were a little different on one of the models. We made an appointment to come in the next morning when the dealership opened to look at the three cars. She really liked the Black X5 and told the dealership we would return later in day as we had a prior commitment as she wanted too test drive the car. mid afternoon we found out the black car was sold. I told the salesman that it wasnt meant to be.....about an hour later, Ian texted me to add the one feature we wanted to one of the white X5 to acvomadate our needs at no charge to us. That’s the silver lining as we returned later in day, test drove and bought the car. The candid feedback is we would have appreciated a phone call from sales leadership that the car was going to be sold to another buyer, especially since we are 4x return buyers. They have 100% of our sales and service business and as feedback on transparency, it’s important to communicate with your sales staff on open opportunities as it may have given us a decision point to counter for purchase. More

He is not trying to screw you on commissions like most car salesman. He makes sure you are happy with your purchase through and through. He sells with honor by caring about his customer. I am not just talking about money even though Ian will get you the best deal. Ian goes out of his way to make sure you the customer are actually satisfied with the car. I originally wanted one type of SUV and Ian said "I think based on what you want to do with the car you may want to go with x SUV." And he was right. Again, he cares about his customers. Ian's bottom line is not the dollar it is the satisfaction of his customer. More
