On January 26, 2023 I returned my 2020 Nissan Murano lease and completed a new lease for a 2023 Nissan Murano. When agreeing to new lease deal I informed them about 3 monthly payments that were not pai lease and completed a new lease for a 2023 Nissan Murano. When agreeing to new lease deal I informed them about 3 monthly payments that were not paid in 2020, due to Nissan's offer for a pandemic freeze on payments. They offered up to 12 monthly payments freeze but after 3 months I began making my payments of $400.72 again. Nissan of Garden City showed me the print out of my current account with Nissan Motor Acceptance and told me that new lease will include these payments (I told salesperson and Sales Manager Victor Diaz it was the only way I could afford new lease deal that day). I paid $1,500 out of pocket and had a $475 monthly payment for new 2023 Murano. On February 6, 2023 I received a letter from Nissan Motor Acceptance asking for payment of $1,202.16, the amount of 3 payments. I explained my situation and they themselves put in a customer complaint claim against their own Dealership. I am hoping/expecting that Nissan of Garden City do as they claimed they would and accept responsibility for these 3 payments. Victor Diaz lied to my face and I sincerely hope Nissan understands how he works his deals. More

SCAMMERS ALERT! !!!Worst car service experience I’ve ever had. Very dishonest and most distasteful people I’ve ever come across especially the service manager. Wanted me to pay $200 for bringing my car in and doing absolutely nothing to fix my transmission problem. Told me to never step foot again in their shop even though I bought the car from there and paid thousands for warranty at this dealer. Poor customer service. Greed over runs this establishment and nothing else. Turns out they didn’t learn a lesson from the settlement that they were included in 2017. Quoted from the attorney general of New York’s settlement announcement listing Garden City Nissan as a party involved: “In addition to the over $1 million in restitution, penalties, and costs”. More

Sneaky dealership. I was told by the Nissan bank that I had to go to the dealership to buy out my lease. Came in with the check to pay for it. They tried to charge me $ I was told by the Nissan bank that I had to go to the dealership to buy out my lease. Came in with the check to pay for it. They tried to charge me $3000 cert. fee. Dude all I want to do is pay off my car. Never again will I ever set foot in there. More

Horrible experience. The will say anything to get you in the door. A bunch of liars and they stole my papers when I questioned them about. They even tried to bully me. Nissan of Garden City has terrible customer service policies. First, they force you to test drive any vehicle you're invested in, ok minor inconvenience. Then when we finally get to the table, policies. First, they force you to test drive any vehicle you're invested in, ok minor inconvenience. Then when we finally get to the table, the sales person disappears for about 15-20 minutes. Ok fine, maybe they are short because of covid, even though it wasn't busy there. Finally, this being the worst, they will NOT discuss pricing without you filling out a credit check!?!? Why am I getting a hard pull when I don't even know I'm purchasing the vehicle there?!?! First the salesperson hands me a form and says we just need some information from you. I read it, and it's a consent for a credit pull!! The managrr said he wouldn't know numbers unless he knew how my credit was. I calmly stated that I have tier 1 credit and if for some reason it comes back less I would understand if the numbers had to be adjusted. He refused to discuss further and asked me to fill out and sign the credit disclosure form again. I walked out. What a waste of time. I've had more success on the phone with other dealerships in regards to speaking about pricing. It's a ridiculous process and I've purchased or leased 8 vehicles in my lifetime. More

Had a fantastic experience at Garden City Nissan. My vehicle was in an accident and found myself needing to purchase an SUV quickly. From the office staff to the manager to our salesperson Sean and the vehicle was in an accident and found myself needing to purchase an SUV quickly. From the office staff to the manager to our salesperson Sean and the finance manager Rob, they made a very difficult and unnerving experience so easy to navigate and treated me as though I was a long time customer. My former vehicle was a Mercedes and I have to say the staff at Garden City Nissan surpassed the customer service of Mercedes Benz! Thank you for making my journey and easy and stress free one! More
