I asked several times for a breakdown of the number they put on the paper. Why aren’t the taxes listed? Well you know the price of the car so if you calculate you can see this final number is the tax added. put on the paper. Why aren’t the taxes listed? They told me. Until I sat with Gerard the finance guy. They know I had to leave at 3 PM - I said if there isn’t enough time, I’ll be happy to come back in the morning. I already left the deposit. There was plenty of time they told me. And of course he doesn’t call me in until 2:45. Conveniently I am in a rush. Suddenly there are many extra fees bringing my total about 4-5 thousand more. I complained, asked if there was a video camera to go back to- and then he took off some of the fees. Then the salesman came in to apologize as if he was completely shocked. Don’t tell me it wasn’t a well played plan. I have shared this sneaky approach with many many co workers in the area- I am sure they will not be visiting this store. I bought the car but have buyers remorse. I should have called off the deal and went to another more honest dealer. More
