Posting this for Emich: Horrible experience with their service department after purchasing a certified pre owned VW at Emich. Car had coolant and oil leaks and took 4 days to fix. It takes a near act service department after purchasing a certified pre owned VW at Emich. Car had coolant and oil leaks and took 4 days to fix. It takes a near act of god to talk to a person on the phone and when you do get a person there is rarely any useful information relayed. When I got my car back on Friday after leaving it on Monday, it gave the same error message it did when it went in for service and additional warning lights stayed on. It was close to end of business and I was told to call on Saturday. Called Saturday as instructed and was told none of the people I was told would be there working on the weekend and that no one there could help me. Called Monday and couldn’t talk to an advisor or service manager. Was told to bring my car up to the dealer which is 20+ miles from my home so they could see what was wrong. Only after considerable prodding did they begrudgingly send someone to my home to see what it could be. Turns out the car was a full quart low on coolant, suggesting my car might not have appropriately been driven after it was repaired. Coolant leak can wreck an engine, but I was told the car probably just needed to be burped post repair and that it “should be ok to drive”. Yeah, because an overheated engine won’t do damage at all. Communication absolutely sucks and the service advisor tried to gas light me and make me come back to rectify their mistake. Never taking any vehicle there again, absolutely horrible experience. More
