The service response to a year old problem was much better than the dealership (South Shore Hyundai) where I purchased my vehicle. The service manager seems to take a lot of pride in his position and better than the dealership (South Shore Hyundai) where I purchased my vehicle. Place initial call Dec 22 to pick up car for service. Original scheduled appt for Wednesday, Feb 2nd pickup. Genesis forgot to schedule after calling for status of pickup. Had to rescheduled for Feb 9th Original scheduled appt for Wednesday, Feb 2nd pickup. Genesis forgot to schedule after calling for status of pickup. Had to rescheduled for Feb 9th 10am, called @09:15 was told driver not available till noon to 13:00. Had to initiate another call to Jessica at 12:45 for status update. To be told after 25 minutes on hold that no one available to pick up car. Received call thursday Feb 10th from Jessica at 08:15 driver will be heading out soon to pick up car and she will call upon leaving. No call from Jessica, i had to call at 10:15 for status to be told driver will be here in 15 minutes, i reminded jessica i have to leave at 11:30 the latest to keep my 12 noon appt. I had to call again at 11:00, waited 15 minutes for Jessica just to be disconnected. Called Jessica again to be told driver is 12 minutes out. Driver did not get here till 11:40 which caused me to be late for my personal appt scheduled for 12:00. Told Jessica I need my car back same day. Call Jessica at 16:30 for status was told car won't be ready till Friday. Receive car back Friday @13:30 to see dash board msg countdown that car is due for service in 8 days, is this what they called all point check completed Advisor Jessica B. Santana, lacks customer service skills, lack follow up, constant inconsistencies in her reasons for delay or call back skills yo keep customer in the loop of status, listening to her was a total waste of time, her words and commitment are useless. As I indicated above, spam of 48 hours of my valuable time wasted because she was a so called advisor who can not advise or keep her words on call back, states or updates. More

I brought my Kona in for its 22k mile service, and this “repair” shop added too much oil which eventually led to the failure of two cylinders.. when contacted, the dealer blamed us. I am old enough to no “repair” shop added too much oil which eventually led to the failure of two cylinders.. when contacted, the dealer blamed us. I am old enough to not be shocked, but I am very disappointed. More
