However, I will never buy as much as a toothpick from Platinum Chev. I have used Platinum only for warranty service as the geographically closest Chev dealer of 5. During purchase negotiations for the 2022 Bolt EUV Premier, Platinum sales agreed to swap out the bulky all weather floor mats for ordinary carpet mats. When I later took delivery you advised you were not going to do that after all. I discovered it was a $100 retail item when I actually purchased the replacement mats from the Sonoma dealer. What an obnoxious disgusting display of your lack of customer respect. Mr Butler is fantastic, Platinum Chevrolet is an entirely opposite class of entity to be generally avoided and to be actively recommended against to anyone who needs to be warned. Warranty is now almost expired I likely will not visit Platinum again. In 26 personal vehicle purchases over many years I never experience a dealer with such repulsive disregard for customer interaction. You are fine with risking a customer relationship over an item of such minuscule value. I feel obligated to start what I should have started after the purchase and actively post numerous reviews to reach out and warn other consumers

We did read your review in its entirety and were left with only the assumption that there was much more to the story aside from floormats that you were requesting after the deal was done and complete to be thrown in at no additional cost. So, we reached out for additional clarification, however it seems there is no new additional information. And your threat to post to as many places as possible seems like an extortion threat because we declined to give them to you for FREE... although I think we did mention that you have GM points credited to your account for the sale that should almost cover the entirety of the cost of the floormat.
As the facts stand understanding it correctly... we've always provided fair, trustworthy and professional service work for years, but because we would not agree to give something away for free after-the-fact when the entire sale/purchase process was transparent, professional and thorough you are completely unsatisfied with us? Now you are outright misrepresenting, lying? About the circumstances of the August 2022 sale. The conversation and commitment regarding the floor mats was one of the first items discussed including your immediate commitment to replace all occurred WELL BEFORE later picking up the car and deal was finalized and vehicle paid for. Separate days. I purchased car even though I “write off” your integrity. Your response plus your past performance actually confirms why you should be the last resort if the several Chevrolet dealers in the area. As for your pretense of a stellar relationship I repeat as you were the closest and it involved only GM $$ I used you ONLY for warranty service which involved no payment from myself. The one incident involving non warranty service the Napa dealer did an excellent job. All in line with my personal commitment to never have a penny of my money cross your threshold. Your attitude demonstrates the dishonest nature of your attitude toward customers. Cheat then lie about it so much that you even escalate a customer review that calls you out. By the way the points for purchasing the new car were never mentioned as the callous means by which you were swapping out the mats the original unused mats entering your inventory available for sale. That comment another example of your disgusting business and customer relationship attitude. Clearly demonstrates how you and your sales operation thinks. My desire to advise as many consumers as possible if the risks of doing business with you is NOT AN EXTORTION ATTEMPT as I asked for nothing from you and I want absolutely NOTHING from you however now you have accused me (publicly) of a criminal offense David Barnes.
My car was in the shop for 2 weeks, and I wouldn't get a
call back when I was told I had to call in to get updates. After I had already described the rare sound it was making, I was asked to go to the shop

The sound was undeniable. I was told twice that my vehicle was being worked on when it wasn't. I was also told that the engine had to be “torn out” before they knew the problem. When I asked about a loaner car, I was told I couldn't borrow a car until it was being worked on, but it wasn't my fault that my car sat there for a few days before they could get to it. Unfortunately, this was a bad and frustrating experience for me, and I would not recommend that anyone get their vehicle serviced there unless it is still under warranty. I felt that communication and experience were lacking in my case.

Thank you for the feedback, we do take it to heart. We're sorry the diagnostic process took as long as it did, but as you mentioned it was a 'rare' sound that it was making. We did take it out 3 different days to attempt to recreate the issue and when that was unsuccessful, we asked you to come back in and try to help us recreate it. Also unfortunately, we aren't able to provide a rental/loaner vehicle from Chevy until there is a diagnosis, and they accept responsibility for the repair. Most issues are not this difficult, and we apologize again for the frustration and heartache that this must have caused. The technician who worked on your vehicle is no longer with the company, we take providing top-notch service very seriously and expect and demand the best from our Factory Trained professional Technicians.
