Saturday Blues We got to the dealership at 10:45 for our 11 o'clock appointment with Jackie. He was with another customer so we waited for about 20 minutes before h We got to the dealership at 10:45 for our 11 o'clock appointment with Jackie. He was with another customer so we waited for about 20 minutes before he was able to show us a vehicle. We had spoken on the phone with Jackie the day before and told him we were looking for a blue ford edge. He said that he had several vehicles to show us. When we got there, he did not have any blue edges to show us. We test drove a 2019 ford edge sel in black. I liked the car, but told him I wanted it in blue. He said that he would have to get it from another dealership and we said that's what we wanted. When they showed us the financing options, it was out of our price range and they kept pressuring us to go over our budget. I then asked for them to show us something cheaper. We test drove a charcoal 2019 ford edge se. I liked that one as well. Jackie told me that he'd be able to get a blue one from their sister dealership in Mesquite which is about 30 minutes away. Gabe showed us the financing options and it was in our budget, so we agreed on a deal around 12:45. However, we did not leave the dealership until 5:00. We kept asking what was taking so long and we kept getting excuses like it's a Saturday, you guys are trading in a vehicle, and we had to get the car from another dealership. No one seemed to think it was a big deal that we had been waiting for hours. I love the car that we got, but the experience of getting the car was one of the worst experiences ever. More
