I would not recommend buying from this dealership if you are out of state. Jackson had good communication up to the point of purchase, everything was smooth and straightforward. Delivery was excellent. How are out of state. Jackson had good communication up to the point of purchase, everything was smooth and straightforward. Delivery was excellent. However, after purchase was a different story. No information or direction given how to actually license the vehicle. I made attempts to verify whethet the licensing documents and plates come from the dealership or from the local license office. Jackson did not respond for more than a month. There were unreturned phone calls and texts. 50 days after purchase I was told it was taken care of and my local license office had everything I needed. Take time off work, get to the license office and I’m told the 2022 Ridgeline I just bought needs a current vehicle inspection. Either the dealership didnt actually inspect the vehicle or didn’t send proof of inspection! Now I am forced to get an inspection locally and come back again to finish the licensing process. When Four Stars was trying to make a sale their communication was clear and quick. But once they had their money the customer wasn’t a priority. It’s a disappointing and frustrating way to buy a car. I’ve bought several cars from Texas and never had these kind of problems before. Jackson seems like a honest, good guy but he really dropped the ball here. More
