My wife was in prelabor when my preordered ID.4 was finally available and they accommodated us which was a HUGE lifesaver. Now that all the nice things are out of the way. Tynan’s has KBB trade-in estimator on their website and is even listed as an instant cash offer location according the KBB but they will not honor the cash price. For this deal only they agreed to come close to the lowest value for my trade. The icing on the cake was that they mandated I buy their GPS and Polysteel on their used ID.4 I bought in May of 2022 and then again on the ID.4 I preordered back in November of 2021. These two items added an additional $1000 to the price of my car for something I specifically said I did not want but was told it was a part of the deal. If I didn’t accept them I wouldn’t get MY car. The car I put a $500 deposit on and ordered to MY specifications back in November of 2021. I never even activated my last GPS they forced me to buy and they told me I couldn’t apply the remainder of the 3 year subscription I paid for to the new car nor would I receive a refund for only having it for 3 months and never activated. Same story with the Polysteel. I bought a 2022 Atlas from them as well, but they did not force me to purchase the GPS or Polysteel. Only the ID.4s because according to them “it’s standard” and that I should be great full that they aren’t marking the vehicle up like other VW dealerships are. I have bought a total of 4 vehicles from Tynans and this will be my last. My first purchase was an amazing experience, but clearly they have gone downhill. My wife and I had some rough waters with them while buying our 2022 Atlas, but Markus helped iron out things. The third purchase was just ok, nothing special. But this fourth purchase was the final straw. My wife and I were so angry it wasn’t funny. I would not recommend Tynans anymore after the things they pulled. I also intend on writing a BBB review that is similar to this, and will contact corporate VW to let them know how they treat their customers. Best of luck. More
