Detail team ruined my experience Upon final inspection of my new “used” vehicle the entire taillight assembly was ripped from the rear of the vehicle, (unable to be located when an ho Upon final inspection of my new “used” vehicle the entire taillight assembly was ripped from the rear of the vehicle, (unable to be located when an hour before intact) and the tailgate was also damaged. I had driven to Sloane to purchase this particular Ford hybrid vehicle model. Five days later, countless emails and calls to this dealership, I had my vehicle returned from repairs (after a loaner was issued at the dealers expense). On the way home I come to find out the wiper is missing! I was forced to drive all the way back for a replacement wiper and wait AGAIN for my car. I couldn’t wait to leave this dealership! I’m glad I bought a Ford so I can have it serviced elsewhere! I immediately cancelled my extended warranty agreement I had purchased from Toyota and then minus $3200 I refinanced my loan for a better interest rate and earlier payoff date! This dealer made no concessions on my trade in Ford Focus value or the price of this used vehicle I purchased after viewing on autotrader site. There was no deal at Sloane. My credit score is over 800, yet I found a better rate of 3.69 @60 mos than Sloane 4.14 @75 mos offer! The final impression is the last people to touch my car were clowns and destroyed my entire experience. They even left dirty rags on the leather seats! I wanted to feel excited, the way you feel when you buy a new car. This is not the feeling I got at Sloane. Very poor communication skills after the inconvenient incident. More
