After a down payment of $4,000 plus a trade in and payment of well over $400 a month the vacuum pump went out halfway to Denver. No power and limited brakes. Holmes sent it to Junction City to get fix payment of well over $400 a month the vacuum pump went out halfway to Denver. No power and limited brakes. Holmes sent it to Junction City to get fixed. Got a call saying power steering rack needed replaced. Over $1,000. After a complaint was told it was covered under warranty. Then was told we ran it out of oil so the engine locked up. Total BS as we had it changed in Denver. Couldn't prove it though, couldn't find receipt and it was a local place on Federal that did the work. Replaced engine long block as well as ANOTHER issue they found while replacing engine. Months later paying for the car and driving a beat up loaner finally got the car back. Same day...no low beams. Told it was a hundred and something to fix those. Then three or four days after getting the vehicle back, check engine light comes on. Code says crank case pressure sensor. So could be a number of things. When I questioned why the vehicle had so many issues as it seemed they were either trying to find things to make money on or had sold a vehicle with numerous issues, the service manager got beligerant and told me I needed to back off. Basically told me the engine failing was our fault for letting the oil run dry and said we could trade it in if so desired. Run, don't walk from this place. More
