I am very unhappy! I chose Holms as a repair shop because it was the only shop in Abilene that my Insurance approved! I took my vehicle in to be estimated and was given I chose Holms as a repair shop because it was the only shop in Abilene that my Insurance approved! I took my vehicle in to be estimated and was given a 6 weeks time frame on when they would be available to get me in. I wait the 6 weeks then get a phone call the week before it is supposed to go in asking me if I wasn’t to schedule an appointment for service. I said it was already scheduled to go in. She tells me the consultant put it down as an estimate. Not a repair. When I asked if parts were in she told me yes they were and they’d see me Monday. I also asked why I was told it would take 2 weeks to work on it when the estimate said 28.5 hrs. She said because some technicians were out for a couple of the days so they would be short on help. I said then I’ll just wait to bring my vehicle until technicians are there. She said it will be worked on and to bring it Monday. Monday morning comes around I drop my vehicle off and leave! That whole week my vehicle was never touched and I was then told that they were waiting on parts to come in, which told me someone was lying to me. The next Monday came and the link showed that my vehicle still hadn’t been started. So I called and spoke with the manager and told the manager that if my vehicle still hasn’t been started that I was just going to come and pick it up and chose a different repair shop because a whole week of having my vehicle and not starting on it is unacceptable. The manager let me know that all parts are in and my vehicle had been started and it was currently in the bay. Today I get a message saying my vehicle is almost finished in the body shop and will be in paint soon. And then about 2 hrs later another message that said my vehicle is in line to be paint but the painter is out tomorrow and they would hopefully be done with it by the end of next week. Your kidding me right. This is my only way of transportation. I have children to take and get from school. When I bought this vehicle the rental insurance wasn’t transferred over like I thought so insurance won’t even pay for a rental. And Holms advised they have no loaners at this time. Come to find out my vehicle is in the body shop with no bumper. No headlight and no fender. How is it done in the body shop when all that was taken off my vehicle is the damaged parts. And it took 2 weeks for those parts to be taken off. 28.5 hrs of labor that’s estimated and it’s going on 2 weeks that my vehicle has been at Holms and will be another week before I’m able to hopefully get it back. Yeah Right. I am very frustrated. And have never had this happen before. My usual shop in Salina has always had my vehicle returned with a week. I know if I ever hit another deer again that I will not use Holms. Between the extended time frame and feeling lied too on multiple occasions I will also never recommend Holms for any body repair service. I will say Miranda was manager who was able to get me the most information and was very nice when I spoke to her on the phone. It’s not her fault. More

Overall it has been a good experience. We took in a total of four vehicles to have minor body work done. Most of the work was done really well, with a couple of exceptions where on one car We took in a total of four vehicles to have minor body work done. Most of the work was done really well, with a couple of exceptions where on one car, a dent was missed on the hood and on another vehicle there was some sticky substance above the driver car door and the passenger door on the driver side. These are minor issues and in the case of the dent, it was taken care of without any charge, however when one lives an hour from Abilene, it takes a great deal of effort to drive back and forth to get it all fixed. Miranda is outstanding! More
