It took over 3 hours for regular oil change. The cost over every service is expensive. My experience with Kia East has been the worst experience I've had with a Kia Service department and I've been to 3 other Kia service departments. My car was towed to Kia East and I was never called by an ad I've had with a Kia Service department and I've been to 3 other Kia service departments. My car was towed to Kia East and I was never called by an advisor to inform me or to check my car in. I wasn't called until the following day, late morning by Janphiel Rivera Vasquez. He had a horrible lack of communication. He did not keep me updated on my car. Made excuses that the technician did not have a diagnosis on my car. I reached out to him several times he did not respond. When I called the dealership to talk to him I was told he was going to reach out to me, which he did with a text message saying he would reach out to me in a sec, which turned out to a call 4 hours later. That call was to inform me that the technician would be done with my car in 20 minutes and that I was able to come pick up my car. The call was at 4:40 p.m. Janphiel (JP) knew I lived about an hour away from the dealership. I had to find a form of transportation to be able to make it to the service department that closed at 6 p.m. in 5 o'clock traffic to pick up my car. Then when I arrived I was informed that I had to pay for an oil change that was over a $100. Never in my time dealing with a Kia service department have I paid over $100 for an oil change. When I brought this to Janphiel attention he said that is how much an oil change cost and that I should be happy because my diagnostic fee was waived! Which in reply I told him, since my car was being fixed due to a manufacturer warranty the diagnostic fee was automatically waived. Then another advisor put in his opinion that he worked at the one Kia service department that I mentioned and they charge $260 for an oil change. I'm not sure if because they saw a woman that they can get over on me and think I have no knowledge on cars but that is definitely not the case with me. I don't know who Armando is, but if he was the technician to my car or not, he was not a person I had any type communication with! It took them over 2 days to inform me about the diagnostics on my car, that was unacceptable! Kia East service department definitely gets 1 star from me! More
