We were in real need of a highlander after our car was totaled in early June. Searched many dealers, we went to McGee as they had a demo available immediately. We really wanted a hybrid grand highlander, totaled in early June. Searched many dealers, we went to McGee as they had a demo available immediately. We really wanted a hybrid grand highlander, but those are hard to get. They said they could get one in 2 1/2 weeks, we put down $1k deposit (they charged us $32 for use of credit card). We keep poking them to make sure they were on track as we needed it to go on our cancelled vacation. The day before pickup they assured us it would be ready the next day as they promised. The sales manager called me the morning we were to pick it up and told us they sold it to someone else. They tried to get us to buy two other vehicles that were not GH Hybrids, we gave them a low offer because we really didn't want them but they rejected and refunded our money including the $32. We have waited over a month now to get another car, and our summer vacation plans are ruined. Complained to Toyota, they said that McGee management would reach out to us but no one every did. I feel like they knew we were in a pinch and might take another vehicle off their hands so we could go on vacation (bait and switch). Stay away. More

After negotiating a deal and running numbers with the internet sales manager, a deposit was placed on the vehicle and date was arranged for pick-up/purchase. Upon arriving, an additional deposit was take internet sales manager, a deposit was placed on the vehicle and date was arranged for pick-up/purchase. Upon arriving, an additional deposit was taken to finalize the deal. We were then told that the deal of $5,000 off of MSRP was a clerical error and that the person that drew up that deal would be dealt with. We were told we would not be getting the car for the price discussed and if we would like to work up a new deal at the "actual price" we were more than welcome to stay and negotiate. Jared the sales manager kept referring to the deal as a mistake and that we "should have known it was an error just looking at it" and that it was too good to be true. The customer service skills of that manager were incredibly poor and low. He was more concerned with saving himself from getting a tongue lashing from his boss for selling a car at that price than he was the customer's satisfaction. Needless to say, we left with our deposit and $50 worth of gas for "our troubles" after driving almost two hours to get there. This doesn't even account for the day off of work that was taken to negotiate this deal. I know that this dealership is still new, but they should get their act together. The only pleasant part of the experience was Tiara our salesperson. More
