I recently purchased a 2026 Kia Carnival SX Prestige from McGrath Arlington Kia in Palatine on July 23, 2025, and initially praised the sales process with Jarek and Pawel for being smooth. However, after reviewing the paperwork at home, I am deeply disappointed. Despite explicitly telling Jarek I wanted no extra warranties, two unauthorized EG Assurance warranties ($2,000 and $995) were added to my contract. The finance department, led by Pawel, applied a 7.09% APR through Wells Fargo, higher than Kia Financing’s 5.73%, without explanation. Additionally, a $15 Tire Fee and $35 Electronic Filing Fee were not clearly disclosed. I emailed the dealer with questions about these issues, but they have not responded, showing a complete lack of transparency and accountability. As a repeat Kia owner, I expected an honest process, not deceptive practices. I wish I could give zero stars and will not return to McGrath Arlington Kia for maintenance or future purchases. More
