Daughter's 1st "Big Girl" Car purchase! My daughter was looking for a new vehicle so after checking on line at a couple of car sites, we happened upon a used Jeep Compass at Preston. We had My daughter was looking for a new vehicle so after checking on line at a couple of car sites, we happened upon a used Jeep Compass at Preston. We had an appointment to talk with Sophia Davis. Although she has only been on the job for a few weeks, she was awesome. She was very friendly & treated us like we had known each other forever. After taking our test drive (& my daughter falling in love with the Compass), it came time to get down to the nitty gritty of working out the numbers. We had a great ice breaker conversation with Jason Discello. Although I was less than impressed with the amount they would allow for a trade-in, Jason worked with my daughter's budget & we were able to come up with a deal she could afford. The financial officer, Roberta was a complete joy to work with. She explained everything very clearly so my daughter understood what all she was signing & why. Our overall experience with Sophia, Jason & Roberta was wonderful & we would recommend going to Preston Mazda in Boardman. More

Best car buying experience I have ever had I was not pressured at any point of the car buying experience. There was a week of email communication in which I felt very in the loop about what wa I was not pressured at any point of the car buying experience. There was a week of email communication in which I felt very in the loop about what was happening. But, I was not pressured into hurrying in at any point. We actually also changed our minds about which vehicle we wanted and that was accepted. We had to work a few numbers out, which is never the fun part. But, I was still never made to feel bad about what I wanted. It would be nice if the whole industry would adopt a change in which you do not leave your sales person to be handed off to a finance person who then tells you different numbers than was discussed with the sales person. But, I think that is par for the course unfortunately. Even with that process, everyone involved was nice, even when I said no a few times to some of the offers for warranties and things like that. In the end, a better deal was worked out for us than we started with, which we were very happy with. I highly recommend Preston and will return there in the future for other vehicle purchases. More

Wonderful Car-Buying Experience This was the first time I've made a big purchase, and Preston Mazda made it really easy for me to enjoy the process. Natalie was extremely friendly an This was the first time I've made a big purchase, and Preston Mazda made it really easy for me to enjoy the process. Natalie was extremely friendly and made me feel like I was a friend; not just someone she was trying to get to buy a car. She still periodically emails me to make sure I am happy with my purchase and not having any issues. I couldn't be happier with my new car - a 2015 Mazda3. Natalie and Jason worked their hardest to get me the trade-in value for my old car that I wanted, and treated me with the upmost respect. The facility was newly renovated and very clean. I would highly recommend purchasing from this dealership and from Natalie, and I don't doubt I'll be back. More

The Mazda3 offered great mpg, and was the best equipped and best looking car in it's segment, so we decided to go with that. There aren't any Mazda dealerships near where we live, so I researched online, and found Preston Mazda. For the majority of my experience, it was pleasant, and decided to do business with them after visiting a few other dealers. Richard Sherb was good to deal with, seemed knowledgeable, and wasn't pushy, unlike many dealers. Utilizing TrueCar, a good price was negotiated, and we came down, signed the paperwork and went home. All in all, a nice change from the typical car buying experience. After that, it started to go downhill somewhat. After we got home that day, we noticed on the rear driver's side quarter, a few deep scratches in the paint. Figuring that some road damage occurred on the way home, I took it to a local reputable body shop. I was told that this was older damage that had been touched up (and badly). He recommended returning to the dealer to get it sorted. I contacted Preston Mazda, and after speaking with Richard, and the sales manager Jason, I was assured they would have the scratches repaired at no cost to me and a rental car issued while it was in the shop. I will be dropping the car off tomorrow (7/29/2014) and do not foresee any issues. Richard has been forthwith with answers, and calls with information to keep me updated. I had expected resistance, and perhaps denial, but it was refreshing to see a dealership step up to make things right without a fight. I wasn't sure where I would be taking the car for maintenance down the road (no local Mazda dealers for us), given the potential for issues, but seeing how they handled the whole matter convinced me that it would be worth the drive to bring it to Preston Mazda. I can honestly say that despite the hiccup, when it comes time to purchase another vehicle, we will return to Preston Mazda. It was an incredible experience I had in purchasing my new CX-5 from Preston Mazda's Boardman Dealership. I live in Beaver, PA, and there are 3 Mazda dealerships all pretty much an equal distance fro new CX-5 from Preston Mazda's Boardman Dealership. I live in Beaver, PA, and there are 3 Mazda dealerships all pretty much an equal distance from my home. On the morning of February 24th, I sent an email to each of the 3 dealerships with a complete summary of what I was looking for: 2014 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring in Soul Red Metallic, and a list of the additional features I wanted as part of the purchase. Preston Mazda responded to my email within about 15 minutes of me hitting the "send" button. (Just so you know: to this day, I have still not received a response from the other dealerships.) Sales Consultant Michael Cylar was very prompt in his reply, indicated that they had the model and color in stock, and invited me to contact him, which I did. He was very up front that the vehicle did not have all of the additional features on it at that time, but that the service department could handle that for me. We set an appointment for that evening, and - to make what is turning out to be a longer note than I anticipated shorter - I drove my new car home that night, thanks to Michael, Jason, and the very prompt service provided by Bill in your finance department. I brought my car into the dealership the following week to have the remote starter, trailer hitch, and other items installed. Unfortunately, I was not told to bring in both of my key fobs for the installation of the remote starter, which meant it couldn't be programmed properly. In a sense, I'm glad it happened this way. First of all, EVERYONE makes honest mistakes. The issue to me is how a company goes about making it right. I learned a LOT about Preston Mazda as a result of that "mistake". The service manager, Jeff Baker, is quite simply an exceptional individual, and Preston Mazda should be very proud to have him as part of their organization. Jeff went WAY over and above in making the situation right for me, went out of his way to minimize ANY inconvenience to me, and followed up to be sure that everything was right. THAT, is customer service. More

Everyone was friendly and willing to help. They met our needs in finding the exact Mazda we were looking for. They gave us the right amount for our trade in and came down on the price of the car. The staff was very knowledgable and friendly. They listened to exactly what I wanted in a car and found it for me without trying to push anything unwanted.
