Thanks Jason!! I went in today with intentions of looking at some cars in hopes of finding something fuel efficient and reliable, yet still affordable for me on a co I went in today with intentions of looking at some cars in hopes of finding something fuel efficient and reliable, yet still affordable for me on a college student budget. Right when we arrived we were greeted by Jason who made us feel very comfortable and was great to talk to. He and Alex helped us find some great options and explained everything very well for me. I am so glad I was able to find a car that was perfect for me. We will definitely be back to work with Jason when it's time for another new car! More

At our old dealership, once we bought the car, they were no where to be found. We were left on our own....In the middle of the ocean.....no one in sight. At Russ Darrow Mazda....Jason was so personable, and Nic was so diligent...and Alex in finance.... They are definitely not leaving us "stranded". We can call on them at any time if we have any questions. They want to make sure that we are taken care of, even after the paperwork is signed. They even took us back to the service center to meet Edy....and some of the other great team. This is the start of a great relationship!!!!!! More

JASON MERTEN IS A SALESPERSON'S SALESPERSON! I HAVE BEEN IN SALES FOR OVER 28 YEARS AND I AM A VERY TOUGH CUSTOMER. I DO NOT GIVE OUT "A"S IN SALEMANSHIP EVER, BUT I HAVE TO MAKE AN EXCEPTION FO I HAVE BEEN IN SALES FOR OVER 28 YEARS AND I AM A VERY TOUGH CUSTOMER. I DO NOT GIVE OUT "A"S IN SALEMANSHIP EVER, BUT I HAVE TO MAKE AN EXCEPTION FOR JASON. I CAME IN TO THE DEALERSHIP ONE EVENING, THERE WERE PEOPLE MILLING AROUND BUT AS I STOOD THERE AT THE MANAGER'S DESK, JASON SAW ME AND IMMEDIATELY GOT UP FROM HIS DESK TO GREET ME AND LET ME KNOW HE WOULD BE RIGHT W/ME AS SOON AS HE WAS THROUGH W/HIS PRESENT CUSTOMER. WITHIN A FEW MINUTES, WE WERE DISCUSSING MY NEEDS FOR A NEW VEHICLE. HE WAS ATTENTIVE TO ME, GAVE ME EXTREMELY PERSON SERVICE AND GENUINELY WANTED TO MAKE SURE I WAS COMFORTABLE. HE WAS COURTEOUS, CHARMING, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PROFESSIONAL. I HAD A SPECIFIC TYPE OF VEHICLE AND MONTHLY PAYMENT IN MIND AND HE PRESENTED ME W/SEVERAL OPTIONS, ALL OF WHICH WERE IN MY PRICE POINT AND MET MY NEEDS. WE WENT FOR A TEST DRIVE IN THE 2018 CX5, HE POINTED OUT EVERY SINGLE FEATURE TO ME AND EXPLAINED WHATEVER I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND PATIENTLY. WE GOT BACK - I LOVED THE VEHICLE - JASON INTRODUCED ME TO HIS MANAGER NIC DISTASIO - WE NEGOTIATED VERY AMICABLY AND CAME TO AN AGREEMENT THAT I WANTED. I THEN WENT IN TO SEE ALEX BERGESON IN FINANCING, HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING, ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS AND WE SEAMLESSLY FINISHED MY TRANSACTION. I CAN SAY WITHOUT EXCEPTION THAT JASON EXCEEDED ANY EXPECTATION I HAD GOING IN TO PURCHASE A NEW VEHICLE BECAUSE I WAS READY TO BATTLE! NO NEED - THEY ACCOMMODATED MY EVERY NEED AND I TRUELY FELT LIKE THEY ROLLED OUT THE RED CARPET FOR ME! I WILL BE REFERRING JASON TO EVERYONE I KNOW, AND I DON'T REFER PEOPLE EASILY AS MY REPUTATION IS ON THE LINE WITH ANY REFERRAL TO MY FRIENDS AND ASSOCIATES. Having to buy a car after a accident in January. I was searching on line for vehicles in my price range as well as a vehicle that would fit my needs. Earlier in the month I was unfortunately in a car I was searching on line for vehicles in my price range as well as a vehicle that would fit my needs. Earlier in the month I was unfortunately in a car accident and was not planning on buying a car for a long time. I saw one that sparked my interest and found out that it was at the dealership. I showed up around 6:15 pm. gave the stock number hopefully it was still available it was and I was hooked up with Jason Mertens. He got the car and was great to work with. He went out of his way to be personable, and understanding of my situation. The reason that I didn’t give 5 stars is because there was a slight disconnect between the sales manager and myself on the price. I had been very upfront with my ceiling as far as payments. I understand the job required him to get as many dollars out of the vehicle as he could. Explaining that this was the best price he could do. And me reminding him that was over my price I had in mind. Wasn’t going to get any lower but some one had left a window sale sign in the car from previous. I asked my salesman to get it and Jason went out and brought it in. I am not going to share my opinion but we did get that price after some paperwork we were out the door with a freshly washed low mileage vehicle! Jason was great and so was Jason in finance!
