If i could give 0 stars thats what it would be! These people are liars, they are sketchy, they did not fix what they said theyd fix, they never even ordered the parts! i went looking for a brand new These people are liars, they are sketchy, they did not fix what they said theyd fix, they never even ordered the parts! i went looking for a brand new car after a bad car accident christmas night, you'd think people would have a heart and not toy around with people especially someone whose been through so much! Well, i found the car i liked, and even my mom said it was sketchy that a brand new 2018 was only 1,000$ more than the 2015 model of the car i was looking at. Well I proceeded anyways, so kim said we would go in do the paperwork, (well we did that, i mean it was ALL the paperwork and i didnt get to drive it off the lot, it was paperwork for the tag, everything they had it on paper that it was basically mine already, and i told this to another car lot and even that car lot said it all sounded wierd and that i should be driving the car bc everything was signed so it's basically mine, keep in mind that week or two that i was not driving the car the tag had already been placed and was running up, and the time the first car payment was due was running up, I hadn't even gone back to work right then, now that i have gone back to work im gonna be kinda pushed and screwed when the payment comes due because they started BEFORE i drove the car off of that lot, so who is screwed ? Me!) and after we left she would take it off the lot and put it in the back for me, well before that there were a few things we'd asked her to get fixed bc i wanted it fixed, she said she would. So we left, we came back a week or so later (January 28th to be exact) with part of the down payment and they held a check for the rest, i was told the pieces had been fixed, but didnt think to look as I believed her and was too excited about the car, she said she forgot to fill it up to bring it in on such and suck day and she'd fill it up, we did, i sent my husband we were off at a funeral and were nearby so i had him run up there. I wouldnt say id even had it a week when my husband noticed like a ticking noise from under the hood, maybe like the sound of a belt. The ford place said that was normal thats how the engines sound in new cars.... BULL! Well..... a couple weeks later i went to take the rest of the down payment, i had cash, i know they take cash, so i thought no big deal right? Well kim greets me and has me sit and wait for the guy named Jason, when he comes out to get me we get back to his office, meanwhile my husband has been told by kim to take the car to the service center about a part that broke that would have been a danger for my kids to get shocked if they ever put their hands there, i mean live wires were showing, so he took it back there they were too slammed, so im in jason's office and i said im paying cash, his tone changed and he kind of acted weird and said is there a reason you're paying cash? Cause keep in mind he had a check that he was holding, i said no. I didnt need a reason, well he took some papers somewhere and came back and said everything was done, i asked him to shred the check that I wrote and thankfully he did, i walked out and waited on my husband to pull back around, they were slammed and kim had said to make an appointment. So we got in the car and left. Here we are over a week later (February 28th) a month from when I actually got the car, i had noticed a night or two ago a smell that smells exactly like plastic burning, so i asked my hisband if that smell was coming from my car or his (cause surely a brand new car shouldnt smell like that) so i popped the hood and asked him to smell underneath and he said it was mine, im pretty sure its not normal to smell like that, so i asked him to drive it home while i drove his. the next day before i went into work he took it to chestatee ford (dahlonega ga) and the guys couldnt find nothing wrong with it, they looked everywhere, so instead he flushed the vent lines with something and luckily i havent smelled the smell sense, well after that he did look in the system to reveal that the other dealership had NEVER ordered the parts that were broken like kim had said had been done, oh i was livid! So finally today rolls around and my husband goes right back up to greene ford in gainseville where we got the car, at about 9 ish maybe closer to 10 am. He then calls me later and tells me that he went up there to get this straightened out and that Aaron the manager said they was never any promises about those pieces getting fixed, and that they're not covered under my warranty i have (it is certified) or at least they say, and that there is no reason to really worry about those pieces, and when my husband asked to speak to kim he said she was busy with customers, well he said he'd went to the bathroom came out and she wasnt with customers, these people are a bunch of liars, they are literally refusing to fix what was supposed to have been fixed before i picked the xxxx car up to begin with! And now it really has me thinking about the history of the car and why a 2018 with 1 owner was only 1,000$ more than the 2015 right next to it! (We are talking about ford flex's here) so ill not be going back and ill be looking into what we can do about all of this, chestatee ford is the place to go! Please save your time and money and do not go to greene ford unless you like being screwed over! More
