Pushy, Physically Threatening - Go Somewhere Else My wife and I leased a Nissan Pathfinder in 2014 from Javier Briceno and last month we were interested in purchasing the vehicle upon the expiration o My wife and I leased a Nissan Pathfinder in 2014 from Javier Briceno and last month we were interested in purchasing the vehicle upon the expiration of the lease. Through multiple phone calls with Mr. Briceno he refused to share with us the buy out amount (that included taxes, dealer fees, etc) so we could come into the dealership with a check and seamlessly process the paperwork, he insisted that we needed to make an appointment and sit down with him. As our lease expiration approached we hesitantly agreed to meet with him so he could give us the number, knowing that his intention was to lease us another car or use one of his lenders. When I showed up to speak with him he immediately tried to get us into another lease, not allowing me to even speak. I then informed him that we wanted to purchase the vehicle and then he immediately pushed Nissan Finance on us which I was not interested in as we have a private lender. When Mr. Briceno realized that we were going to purchase the vehicle with a private lender he immediately stood up and said "I don't have time for this xxxx" and walked away to attend a new customer and left me just sitting there! I then walked over to the reception desk and they directed me to the sales office (they stated that the GM was out on vacation) and when I had to walk by his desk again to speak with his superiors he started screaming at me, making a scene in the dealership. I eventually met with another rep who was helpful and got the info that I needed. After my convo with the rep I walked back to the sales reps office to thank them for the help, as I walked by Mr. Briceno he stood up and approached me in an aggressive manner, clinching his fists as if he were going to attack me and started yelling "what the f*xx are you going to do?". I ended up going outside and chatting with the Sales Manager who was also quite rude and seems to be acustomed to Mr. Bricenos inappropriate treatment of clients and bizzare behavior in the work environment while expecting me to understand how this process works as if purchasing a lease is something I do on an every day basis. The treatment that I received by Javier Briceno was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. My intention was to come in and purchase the vehicle from the man and dealership that leased us the vehicle. To be treated in the manner that I was treated was very upsetting and should be addressed internally. We ended up working with another dealership to purchase the vehicle due to the horrifying customer service and treatment shown by Mr. Briceno. More
