Staff is always very nice but the service is always slow. The staff at Regal Kia Lakeland are always very nice but every time I go to get my car serviced a simple oil change usually takes 2 hours or more. The service department told us repairs that we had already made within a month needed to be replaced. When I told them, they had no great answer. We had the car in a month earlier and told us that already made within a month needed to be replaced. When I told them, they had no great answer. We had the car in a month earlier and told us that belts needed to be replaced. I’m sure that decision was made solely on mileage instead of the issue we took the car in for. A month later when we took the car back in because of a check engine light. We were told that a seal needed to be replaced. Once the seal was replaced, the check engine light came back on at that time. We were told by Jeremy that they didn’t realize the new issue needed to be fixed wasn’t apparent until the check engine light came on, which I told him that light was on when we brought the car in. He acted completely like the light had not already been on. I don’t trust the information provided by the service advisor. After owning eight Kia’s, we have decided never again. Sold the car and bought a different brand. Even after we had traded the car to another dealership, received a call from regal Kia asking us what we wanted to do with our car since it was still on the lot. I feel the service department is completely unaware of the issues going on around them. More
