My recommendation for Lithia Toyota Redding is to have technicians completing lifetime oil changes actually perform the work they claim they did (I.E. battery inspection-visual). The battery posts on my 2 technicians completing lifetime oil changes actually perform the work they claim they did (I.E. battery inspection-visual). The battery posts on my 2017 Camry (purchased new from Lithia, Redding) were so corroded, it ruined the cables and connectors. The Service Manager was very polite and professional, but offered no meaningful solution such as replacing battery cables at a reduced cost. A repair I would have be en happy to pay for, even though it was due to poor service by supposedly trained technicians. Instead I was offered a battery post cleaning service on battery cables which were corroded beyond repair,. This means the problem will come back repeatedly and possibly leave my family stranded. Due to this lack of service, I will have my car repaired properly at a local repair shop. After that, I will never do business with any Lithia owned dealership of any kind, as I refuse to tolerate poor service and integrity when there are numerous other supply options available online and at other dealerships. I will also be posting pictures of the ridiculously corroded cables and give this same testimony on social media, with "Buyers beware" heading. So in essence an approximate $400 repair, which would not have cost Lithia Toyota any money, as I would have paid a reasonably reduced cost for, will now cost Lithia motors thousands of dollars of lost revenue. Not only from my lost business, but possibly lost business from wary social media users, who will not wish to suffer losses like mine. Good Riddance Lithia! More
