We are very disappointed with our used car purchase experience. I should add that our sales person was great, but what has happened afterward has been just bad. We purchased a 2018 Fiat and were told that the car had gone through a full inspection and had no issues. When we asked them to check the alignment, they discovered the water pump wasn't working and needed to be replaced. We had to return a few weeks later to get this done after the part came in. We drive the car very little, but only six weeks after the purchase, the front brakes were gone (the car began making a very loud grinding sound when pressing brakes) and the technician at our shop told us they were down to nothing (0%). In fact, we had also been grinding the rotors (clear from the sound it was making). We spent more than $400 to replace the brakes, and the dealership will do nothing for us because we don't have the "old" brakes that were replaced. It's clear, though, from the LOUD noise the car was making that the brakes were gone, and the dealership just won't help us or do anything. The sales manager disclosed to me that their inspection said all the tires were at 50% or better. Of course, this wasn't mentioned to us at the time of purchase- and it should have been. They should at least have done something to help but instead refuse and accept no responsibility. Buy your car elsewhere where they care about their customers- and their safety! More
