Steve gave me an incredibly fair offer and was helpful every step of the way towards buying a 2015 Altima. Late night on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, I saw an awesome deal on the Russ Darrow Nissan website for a Nissan Certified Used 2024 Sentra with only about 11,395 miles and a CLEAN CarFax on sale for about $18, deal on the Russ Darrow Nissan website for a Nissan Certified Used 2024 Sentra with only about 11,395 miles and a CLEAN CarFax on sale for about $18,739. Immediately after I finished working the next day, I called the dealership and Sales Manager Steve G. said it was still available so I told him I was coming in for a test ride and would arrive within a half hour. When I arrived, the vehicle was sitting out front ready for me to inspect and take a test drive. Steve introduced me to Salesman Mike A. who he said would take care of me. Mike was just a great guy to work with as was his Sales Manager, Jimmy V. I really liked the 2024 Sentra and Steve gave me a fair price for my trade - a 2010 Nissan Altima with high miles (about 191,000) which I maintained since I purchased it new despite the fact that they were aware it needed some new parts. The purchase process was quite simple - Finance Manager Chad L. wrote up the deal even though it was a cash deal and did a great job. Russ Darrow Nissan let me take the Sentra home that day on my word that I would have the money wired to the dealership and deliver the title to my trade the next day. Note that my original intent was to buy a late model, used Nissan Altima with low miles and did online research regarding pricing and size of used inventory over the course of about a year from 3 local dealerships - Russ Darrow Nissan, Rosen Nissan and Wilde Nissan. On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, I test drove a Certified Used 2020 Red Nissan Sentra with about 40,000 miles at Rosen Nissan with a price of $18,999. I almost purchased it as they made me a great offer on my trade but I just had to do some online research on the Sentra before pulling the trigger. I was also quite disappointed that the original late model blue Nissan Altima which they told me over the phone was not available when I arrived, despite being told a mere two hours earlier that it was still available. In any event, I sure am glad that I followed my instincts and did the Sentra research which resulted in an awesome deal at Russ Darrow Nissan on a one year old, Certified Used Nissan Sentra with about 30,000 LESS miles the next day! About a year ago, I was looking at a used Nissan Altima at Wilde Nissan in Waukesha and they really didn't appear that they wanted to make a deal. They wouldn't budge on the price of the vehicle and offered me a laughable amount for my trade and wouldn't budge on that either! So I immediately knew from that point that I would NEVER purchase from them. From doing online research on used Nissan vehicles at the above 3 dealerships, it has been my experience that Russ Darrow Nissan ALWAYS had the largest selection of late model, used Nissans and the BEST prices, at least for the Altima and Sentra models that I researched. I'll never waste my time going anywhere else! More

I absolutely love the deal on the Honda Clarity I got from this dealership. I am thrilled about this car. Kevin and Jimmy (sales manager) are both very nice people. When it came time to start talking numbers for the car, Jimmy slipped in a $500 security etching fee, as well as a $500 service fee to sell the car. If you choose to buy a car from this dealership, make sure you don't let them tack on the security etching fee, that is absolutely unnecessary. Jimmy was quite pushy about me signing a deal on the car so that I could take it home later that day. This used plug in hybrid comes with a $4,000 tax credit, which I was aware of going into purchasing the car. When I asked Jimmy (sales manager) about the tax credit, they told me there was absolutely no credit for the car. Jimmy talked to his boss, as well as the financial head of the dealer. Both people told me I was wrong about the tax credit. I had to escalate it another level to the Russ Darrow corporate office in order for them to finally acknowledge the $4,000 tax credit I could get for the car. I spent ~3 hours at the dealership going back and forth about the tax credit. During Jimmy's pitch for buying the car, he told me that the car came with a select certified warranty, which includes a longer powertrain warranty and a shorter bumper to bumper warranty. Obviously I loved to hear that, and it made me more inclined to buy the car, knowing I would be protected for near future. When it got to the time where I was paying for the car, the financial head told me that the car was not certified at all, and that it came with no warranty. It's hard to say if Jimmy mistook my car being certified, or if he was lying about it being certified to try to get me to buy it. Thankfully, Jimmy recognized his error and had the car select certified for me the next day. The next day, after the car had gone through the select certified inspection process, I came in t purchase the car. The financial head told me that the select certified warranty only includes a 6 month, 6000 mile warranty on the powertrain (much shorter than the 30,000 mile warranty Jimmy had pitched me). There is also no limited bumper to bumper warranty at all. I was tired of the 7+ hours I had already spent at the dealership trying to buy this car, so I went forward without throwing a fit about it. It is still very disappointing that Jimmy was pitching a long powertrain warranty and limited bumper to bumper warranty on this car that never even existed. At the end of the day, I am very happy with the car I purchased. Going through my troubles with the tax credit and select certified warranty was very annoying though. I had to spend way more time at the dealership than what should have been necessary to buy the car. If you choose to buy from this dealership, do not let them sell you their $500 security etch fee, and be aware of their absurd $500 service fee. More
