Third car purchased from Brandfon. Wouldn't shop anywhere else for a Honda. Joanne always gives great service, is very personable, and gets us the fairest price. We feel we're being dealt with honestly and fairly. Met Matt for the first time last night. Also very personable, concise, well-spoken, friendly. All questions were answered thoroughly. All paperwork was explained before signing. Also, dealership has a good energy about it. Always seems fairly busy and employees seem to like working there. More

I asked the receptionist to recommend a sales person that I could work with. I told her I was looking for someone that would not patronize me because I am a single woman. The person that answered the phone did an excellent job in directing me to Joann. I spoke with Joann on the phone and really laid it on the line. I told her I didn't want to deal with the BS of buying a car, and would not put up with the games that other car dealers play. I was not in a good mood having just dealt with idiots at a local high end dealership .This did not shake Joann at all. She took it all in stride, and politely ask what she could do to help. I was amazed. I laid out my list, and she told me that she felt she could help. A story I had heard more then a few times before from other dealerships in the area, only to walk into the dealership,have them take my keys for my trade in and then tell me, "OH, we can't find your keys" when I wish to storm out because of their ridicules offer. Really? really, I thought the hide the keys game went out in the 80s, but not the case in East Haven. So I decided to stop down, and take a look at the car, thinking that more then likely, I wasn't going to buy a Honda. From the moment I walked in the door I was welcomed. NOT rushed. I didn't feel pressured, or attacked. I politely asked for Joann, and waited. I only had to wait a moment, before Joann to come around the corner to welcome me. She was with another customer, yet she wanted to welcome me and let me know she would only be a moment. I told her not to rush, as I did not call her to let her know I was coming down as she had asked. I waited around a little bit, looked at some brochures and then asked a nice young man if I could look at one of the cars I came in to see. He didn't hesitate to run and grab me some keys. I went out to the car, and it was only another moment for Joann to make sure I was OK. I told her I was fine. There I was, looking at this beautiful vehicle all by myself. I loved it. Then I came in only to be directed to the computer to look up the Honda's on line. Now I will say that their showroom does pales in comparison to the higher end dealerships, with their 20 different types of coffee, LCD TV, 1/4" napkins and 500 gallon fish tank , but when it all comes down to it, who cares? I can't take the showroom home with me, and once I purchase the car, how offen am I going to go there? Well with all the recent recalls, apparently a lot more then I wanted to . But you know what I mean. The point I am trying to make is, Branford Honda is a wonderful dealership. I walked in the door with a ball cap on my head, dirty jeans and an old sweatshirt, and they treated me as a valued customer. Not only was Joann wonderful, but the management staff was delightful and polite as well. Each one that I met, approached me with a big smile and a warm handshake. Not because I was sitting in a office, arguing about pricing and having to play the game , "I have to check with my manager" .... The dealership didn't have the car I wanted on the lot, and they still were as kind and attentive as can be. I am writing this glowing review because they deserve it. I would recommend them to anyone. I am not sure what vehicle I am going to purchase, but the Honda Car Makers, should be proud that Branford Honda is selling their cars. I think that other car marker should screen who they allow to sell their products more thoroughly. I have dealt with dealerships that have made me NOT want to purchase a car, based on treatment/ service, but not the car, i.e, why I was at the Honda dealership in the first place, but I have NEVER had a dealership make me want to buy a car based on the treatment and service and not the car. If you are looking to purchase a NEW or USED car, stop by Branford Honda. Even if you don't purchase a Honda at least you will know how you SHOULD be treated, and you will not settle for less. More

When my breaks and Routers on my civic needed to be repaired I decided to end my lease early and lease an Accord Coupe. After Mike Hamilton and Lauren at Westbrook Honda took a deposit over the phone a repaired I decided to end my lease early and lease an Accord Coupe. After Mike Hamilton and Lauren at Westbrook Honda took a deposit over the phone and agreed to a price of $300 a month and promised me they had a car for me I drove to Westbrook Honda with no breaks to find they didn't have the car and would not honor the price they agreed to over the phone and wanted to charge me 318 instead. I was so upset when I found this out I was almost crying. I don't know how they sleep at night. Brandfon Honda was the opposite experience. Joann and Adam represent the modern day car shopping experience where the customer does not feel like he or she is being screwed over. They answered all my questions, were patient and they were able to get my payments even lower than what they originally agreed to at Westbrook. They truly are an asset to exceptional sales team at Branfon Honda. More

Linda was great. I came in a year ago to find ot my options, when I came back on 10/12/10 and spoke with her she remembered who I was and what my needs were. She was so nice and helpful. She did not try and sell me what I didn't need or could not afford. She was very knowledgable and profesional. Rob made the financial tranaction easy for us to understand and patient. He is very knowledgable as well and helped me at a time of loss for my family. They are both excellent workers who know how to treat people..thank you guys for all your help. More

After 17 years with a Honda(1993) and 306,830 miles later, my wife and I knew it was time for a new Honda. My son suggested brandfon honda and it was a great suggestion. Joanne Panzo,in sales, was most later, my wife and I knew it was time for a new Honda. My son suggested brandfon honda and it was a great suggestion. Joanne Panzo,in sales, was most accommodating. We discussed with Joanne our preferences and model and viewed the car she recommended. I looked at others but wanted to drive the car she recommended. Immediately I knew I need not look any further. We compleleted all the paperwork in such a timely manner, it was a pleasure and explained to Joanne we were going to MA for our grandson's hockey tournment and if we can complete the transaction after the weekend. I called her the Monday after, set a time, and drove home very satisfied with a car not only my wife and I love but also "all in the family" Matt Goodwin explained the financial and service matters in a personable and knowledgeable manner with emphasise on our needs. Again we listened and were fully satisfied. Both Joanne and Matt are very professional, not a bit intimidating and will recommend brandfon honda as well as Joanne and Matt to our family and friends. Joanne and Randy were a pleasure to deal with as I put my 98 Accord to rest and leased a 2010 Civic. Every employee is very friedly there. they all say hello and how are you. I just purchased a car from joanne who was great. she was not trying to push a deal on me at all. she gave me several options and lo and how are you. I am 20 years old and am driving a 2010 brand new honda civic for 245.00 a month. thank you to joanne and tim the finance manager who made my experience a great time. i would reccomend anyone i know to go to brandfon honda! not only would i reccomend it, i would be crazy to go to any other dealership. I had been to several honda dealerships and this one was by far the best. they definitly put the customer first before thinknig about thier own profit! More

Over the years,I've had the opportunity to deal with a significant number of car dealers, including ones selling "high end" vehicles, like Lexus. The entire staff is fouced on customer service/satisfaction and does so with incredibly high levels of courtsey, professionalism and concern. It is truly, a remarkable group of people and an an outstanding example of a consumer driven business. I rated Brandfon as a "5" in all categories for two reasons: 1) They absolutley deserve to be. 2) there is no rating number higher than "5". More

During the past year or so, I have accompanied several of my friends to the Brandfon Honda dealership to assist them with a new vehicle purchase. In each and every sale, the staff noted above went above and my friends to the Brandfon Honda dealership to assist them with a new vehicle purchase. In each and every sale, the staff noted above went above and beyond to accommodate my friends and sell them the Honda at a price which beat the other dealership quotes. What surprised me was that each and every time that I called either Bob, Nick or JoAnn the call was returned usually within an hour or so. The show room was inviting, clean and when you brought your car in for service, the accommodations in the waiting area is outstanding. My friends mentioned to me that when they made their appointment for service they never had to wait weeks, the appointment was made to fit their schedule and each and every friend stated that they would purchase another vehicle from Brandfon Honda. I was in the market for a used car as a first vehicle for my 16 year old son. As a single mother who has never before purchased a vehicle by myself, I was naturally intimidated to even begin the whole car s my 16 year old son. I had a slew of questions and within minutes, all of my fears and concerns were put to rest by the very competent Joanne Panzo and her Manager, Bob VanAlmkerk, Brandfon Honda was the third dealer I had been to that week, yet they were the first dealer to make me feel respected, valued and important. Joanne and Bob really cared about what type of vehicle I should consider for my son and brought up many items about resale value, durability and warranty of a used car that I had not even thought of; they were incredibly knowledgable. I found a car that perfectly matched my needs and budget, and quickly made a decision to purchase. I found the entire process painless and even fun, and will return to Brandfon Honda for my next vehicle. I highly recommend this dealership to everyone I know - they deliver outstanding customer service and great prices and are just great folks to work with! More
