Received a lease quote from Jodi on a $43K car that would've totaled close to $36K on a lease. She marked up the sticker and rate so much that when I pushed on why, she doubled down and said thats wha would've totaled close to $36K on a lease. Hyundai OEM is a customer of mine and when I asked them if this is the case, they told me not only is that not the case but to leave this review as it reflects poorly on the brand. From my first phone call with Jody to driving away in my new car was all pleasant. Hakan my sales rep could not have been a better fit for me. The finance manager Laura searched for the best deal on financing with options that worked for my budget. It was emotional for me trading in my Hyundai of 15yrs but looking forward to another 200,00. miles. More

Piazza Genesis/Hyundai is the most unethical car dealership I have ever worked with in my 58 years. I was hoping to buy a 2023 Genesis GV70, but unfortunately I came across this lying employee by th dealership I have ever worked with in my 58 years. I was hoping to buy a 2023 Genesis GV70, but unfortunately I came across this lying employee by the name of Jodi Matheson. I located a GV70 in-transit to the dealer via the Genesis Concierge service, which was very helpful. Jodi told me (before the car even reached the lot) that the vehicle has a $3,700 upcharge for a “tire/wheel protection package” and a “ceramic coating protection package”; whether I wanted them or not. Anyone knows these are both useless items of no value which they try and gouge their customers for. I said no thanks. Three weeks later this vehicle was still unsold and I contacted another sales rep at Piazza. Unfortunately, Jodi intervened again and this time sent me a quote trying to gouge me a $4,019 upcharge for the same useless tire/rim/ceramic crap. She said this has already been applied to the vehicle, which was a complete lie. I contacted the sales manager who sent me a quote at MSRP. I asked about the useless tire/rim/ceramic crap and he told me, ‘it hasn’t been put on yet, so if you don’t want it, you don’t have to pay for it’. He confirmed that what Jodi had been telling was not true, that she was lying to me; they only sell that useless tire/rim/ceramic crap if the customer wants to pay for it. He then confirmed the car was out for a customer drive that afternoon. He later told me that day the car was sold that afternoon. I contacted Jodi to ask why she told me the useless tire/rim/ceramic crap had to be purchased. She lied to me again when she told me the car was sold 3 days prior; then she just hung up the phone on me, a customer. Piazza needs to fire this Jodi ASAP; she makes this dealership a farce and I recommend to look for another Genesis or Hyundai dealer in the Philly area. More
