Wonderful experience from walking in the door to walking out I had been to multiple other dealers in the state before stopping in Ira Friday night. I had planned to look at one car at Ira and then go across to look at another. I am not a fan of being pressured at dealerships. I felt none at Ira. My experience has made me want to return here to purchase a car for my wife in a few years. More

Purchase of 2017 ES300H Hi My wife Karen and I visited your dealership on Saturday Oct 21st to see what you had for inventory. That day we actually had less than a great e Hi My wife Karen and I visited your dealership on Saturday Oct 21st to see what you had for inventory. That day we actually had less than a great experience. We waited near 30 minutes before we got any direct attention. The Brittany informed us that you were extra busy and "everyone " came in at the same time and anyway did not have any inventory at all of new or certified ES300H, the car we were looking for. She offered to show us a ES300 but we declined her offer because gas milage and low emissions are very important to us and we thought that spending more time test driving a car we knew we were not going to buy made no sense and we left your dealership. A few days went by and i placed a request with True Car . The next morning , Joe Cardello called me to introduce himself. I explained to him what we were looking for and Joe indicated that he would attempt to locate new 2017 ES300H in New England that met our requests with color combinations and options. Originally Joe mentioned that he could get me the car under 40,000 using the $3,000 Lexus cash. However, once i reiterated that we wanted the upgraded Mark Levinson audio upgrade Joe called me back and told me he located 3 cars , 1 black ,1 silver, and 1 grey all with the black leather we wanted and the upgraded audio but the best price he would offer was $ 42,298. OK , a little background, I had been looking for a new car for my wife who was driving a 2012 Toyota Camry XLE Hybrid because the car i had been driving a 2010 Toyota Prius, with 315,000 miles on it died suddenly with engine failure.The plan was to take over her Camry and get her a new car. I new she wanted a luxury car that was great on gas milage and was loaded. The question was buy new or Certified Preowned? We first looked at the new design 2018 Camry XLE Hybrid and test drove one at Ira Toyota in Manchester. The car was nice but still not what we wanted. So then i began looking at the Preowned Certified Lexus ES300H being that a new 2018 Camry with the options we wanted was going to cost just about 34K. I did some internet research to see where there were cars available for sale that may meet our needs.I took a ride down to Herb Chambers Lexus in Sharon Ma. to look at a couple of Certified preowned they had. I test drove a 2013 ES300H with 43,000 miles on it they had a smart price of $ 22,998. The car was nice but upon thinking about it moving my wife from a 2012 Camry Hybrid with 62,000 miles to a 2013 Lexus with 43,000 miles wasn't enough of an upgrade. While i was at Herb Chambers that day a sat in a new 2017 black on black leather ES300H on their showroom floor and mentioned to their sales consultant and sales manager that i would consider a new 2017. Well, they probably didn't take me seriously because they mentioned that that car is $ 49,000 + and even with the $ 3,000 customer cash the best they would do would be somewhere around $ 44K. I left the dealership and told them i was going continue our search and contact me if they find what we are looking for. I told my wife about the black 2017 a sat in that day and how beautiful a car is is that night when i returned home. Well a day or to went by and a Herb Chambers internet representative indicated they had a couple new 2017's , so i asked her to give me a bottom line price because i would be making a decision within 48 hours. The bottom line price i requested still had not been communicated to me. I asked twice for their best price and never got a price quote . So now back to Joe Cardello and the experience we had with him and your Dealership.Joe stayed in contact with me and told me he found a 2017 Black on Black with the Mark Levinson and i knew right away he was talking about the car i had sat in two weeks prior at Herb Chambers. I asked him for the Vin # and sure enough it was the same car.He told me he would transport the car to N.H. and asked me if we had a deal.I told him i was still waiting for Chambers to make a price commitment on the car and once i got it i would make a quick decision .Joe kept the conversation going and smartly asked what was taking Herb Chambers so long to give me a price, Affirming that he has offed a price and was totally transparent and wanted to earn our business. I believe this was Thursday October 26th and Joe wanted to secure the Black ES300H from Chambers before they got wind of the fact that i was the customer that in fact was interested in purchasing it from your dealership . With the weekend approaching fast, as well as the end of the month in which the $3,000 Lexus cash offer was expiring, I changed my mind about waiting for Herb Chambers formal offer and made a counter offer. Joe called me back within 15 minutes and we agreed on a final price. I credit Joe, his professional communication skills and willingness of your dealership to actual sell and negotiate pricing to make deal. Joe was also very professional and knowledgeable about the ES300H and did a great job explaining and demonstrating the many features and benefits within this beautiful car after the sale was complete. What an irony. What a story. The actual car I sat in on the Herb Chambers showroom floor was the car we actually purchased trough your dealership some two weeks later. My wife and I are thrilled with our purchase. To think we now own a new ES300H and paid only $7,750 more than what we would have paid for a loaded new Camry. I great deal.
