I purchased a 2010 Prius from this dealer in August of 2009 and have been bringing it for the regular oil service for just over a year now. I had never bought a Toyota. I was not impressed with the dealership in S. Burlington. A friend suggested I try Handy. I was impressed from start to finish with the deal. Although I live in Burlington and Essex Junction, I ONLY trust my 2000 Toyota Corolla to Handy. This my 5th car I've bought at this dealer and my forth Toyota. Ali has done aood job he sends us birthday cards on our birthdays. We are currently having a remarkable customer relationship with Handy Toyota. Here's a summary of our history with Handy Toyota so far. Summer 2008 - it's time (way past time actually) for some new wheels. Poof! Enter: Instant car shopping stress! To begin the long arduous process we decide to try to see if we can actually afford a NEW car. Having spent a lifetime with nothing but used cars we'd really appreciate the 'highest' level of reliability a NEW car has to offer and treasure the thought of putting the original miles on a vehicle rather than inheriting someone else’s 'lifestyle' yet again. Also, we can't afford the full-purchase-price monthly payments for a NEW vehicle so we decide to try leasing and allow ourselves what we have paid in the past for used cars and budget ourselves a ~$200 monthly payment. After establishing our most important vehicle requirements - 4cyl for gas economy, adjustable cockpit, and wagon-like storage space – we do the research to narrow down our most likely vehicle choices. Once we had our list of 4-5 models, and before doing any traveling, we make some phone calls to see what the sales folks will 'offer' us and get an idea of who might like our business. We had several less than satisfying interactions (depressing actually) with various dealerships around the Champlain Valley. Then came Handy's turn. By chance (luck?) we spoke with Adam. Within literally 5 minutes (yes, five) Adam (kicked all the other dealerships butts) gave us a ballpark lease payment estimate of $201 on a 2009 4cyl Camry with full power driver’s seat and fold-down rear seats. Bam! Stress? What stress? 4-for-4. Sold! We went for a test drive that afternoon, loved the car, and drove it home the next day – proud ‘owners’ of a truly new car. What Adam had actually done inside of a few minutes was to remove a ton of our car shopping stress. He listened to what we were searching for and hit the mark without expending an ounce of sales pressure. He truly worked *with* us (not *on* us). Subsequent visits to Handy's service dept over the past year have also been stress free and friendly. It is becoming apparent to us that they are extremely interested in their customer's satisfaction. They also seem to be going beyond the individual transactional excellence and are managing for the long term by taking their customer relationship development very seriously. So far we are quite impressed with the overall quality of our experiences with Handy Toyota. We will be back! More

I have purchased 5 cars now from Handy Toyota since 2001 so I'd say they have a pretty great relationship. I have all of their names in the car but getting ready to move so I won't go out and get them. Stev so I'd say they have a pretty great relationship. I've done business with them from the get go and you can see I've been back 4 more times. They take care that you know how to operate all the functions on the vehicle. It is always spotless and looks like a gem. They even gave me the information I need in case I have car trouble on the way to Virginia. I shall miss them all, but may just drive back up here for my next vehicle instead of purchasing from VA which is right next to the Kentucky plant. Thank you for allowing them to service me. Wanted a certain color exterior and interior and had a balance owed on my tradein. Doug went all out to find the car I wanted and get it to the dealership in a quick manner. He communicated with me to make sure that I was kept up to date on what was going on. He made sure that I got a fair deal on the payoff of my car and ensured that the financing was the best I could get. He was extremely helpful in answering all my questions, some of which I'm sure were stupid. Even though I bugged him several times his friendly manner never waivered. Can't say enough about Doug. Also have been impressed with Joe in the Service Dept who goes out of his way to answer all questions and make sure that my wants are taken care of. Love this dealership. I've dealt with the Heritage/Courtesy/Berlin City folks in the past and you really want a shower afterwards! At Handy, it was a very low key and painless process to buy a new Tundra. Ali was patient and not pushy,very easy to work with . Only negative was the finance folks tried to jig the interest rate after the fact: Offered lower interest rate than quoted but with a "service charge" that actually made the loan more expensive. Could have been an honest error but as with any dealer, READ EVERYTHING. Buying a car is never "fun" but this was as easy and hassle-free as it could be. More
