Window tinting made easy When I purchased the Explorer I also prepaid to have my windows tinted. Elder Ford called and set up the appointment telling me I could wait for the t When I purchased the Explorer I also prepaid to have my windows tinted. Elder Ford called and set up the appointment telling me I could wait for the tinting it they would be happy to give me a ride home or to work. I choose to wait and was surprised at how quickly the work was preformed. While there I was updated on the progress several times. The dealership had refreshments available and a comfortable Wait area. Overall it was a pleasant experience. More

Service Appointment was Irritating at Best My husband came in on 7/2 to find out about our extended warranty. Found out our warranty is showing up on our car. Then the customer service rep tol My husband came in on 7/2 to find out about our extended warranty. Found out our warranty is showing up on our car. Then the customer service rep told him there is a Recall on my steering column. So he scheduled an appointment for 7/5. Absolutely no work was done on my car on 7/2 just scheduled appt. I get in on 7/5 for my appt. and the Asst Svc Mgr, Christopher Newton, wants to argue with me on what was done to my car on 7/2 (nothing was done to my car). I also needed an oil change, my windshield wiper that was changed is sticking (again he argued with me over the windshield wiper). The Manager, Toni, was a peach and handled everything with a smile. Then I had to return because my car was smoking all the way down the interstate. I came back in around 3pm and again Christopher Newton, wanted to argue with me than to have it looked at. And again Toni had to intervene and had my car looked at and the oil was over filled. I don't think Christopher Newton is the right person for this job. Your customers dont make appointments to argue with your staff personnel. I truly love Elder Ford and tell everyone about it and how much I love my Ford Fusion Hybrid. Then I get treated like this....really makes me want to purchase my next vehicle at a different Ford location. You should re-evaluate Christopher Newton's position with your company. I am most concerned that the Recall was not addressed. The service manager at Bill Currie Ford looked into it and swears it was completed. I will be wary of this part just because of the confusion. More
