From the very begging to the very end my experience with Sunrise Volkswagen has been absolutely great. John Baessell the service manager and John Turk the service advisor are the two who I mainly dealt with Sunrise Volkswagen has been absolutely great. John Baessell the service manager and John Turk the service advisor are the two who I mainly dealt with. Not to overlook the rest of the willing,polite,and helpful staff that helped me along the way. I’ll try and keep this story as short and direct as possible. I received a letter from VW OF AMERICA about them extending the warranty on a part called “fuel tank jet suction pump” in October. November 26th my car was driving strange. It smelled like gas,was rejecting gas being put into it, when I got home it started leak gas out of the passenger rear. I called Wallace VW of Stuart and made an appointment to bring the car in on a Wednesday,November 30th. Monday November,28th the car gave me trouble starting. After 15 mins of trying to start the car,it started and I immediately drove across the street and drop the car off since I live directly across the street from Wallace Volkswagen of Stuart. Initially,I went to them when I was having a known recall issue with my 2015 VW GTI. I explained to a service advisor at Wallace the symptoms of what my car was doing. They told me they would check it out and let me know. It’s now Thursday November 30th I got a call and they told me after they diagnosed it that it was my evap canister being flooded with fuel. I explained to them the consequential damages the fuel tank suction pump failing was the reason other parts failed. They neglected to actually diagnose the issue properly and just blamed the failed part and told me it would be 1300$ to repair and it would take about a month todo so. I walked out of Wallace VW of Stuart feeling lied to and like I was just another number to them. I then called Sunrise Volkswagen in Ft piece and had a conversation with John Turk the service advisor. I voiced the issue(s) I was having with my car and Wallace vw of Stuart. His friendliness and willing to hear me out made me immediately comfortable and brought my car to them Wednesday December 7th. I receive a call from John Baessell the service manager later that day and after they properly diagnosed my car, they informed me that everything would be covered under the extended warranty. John also told me they ordered the parts and my car would be ready to be picked the following day which would be Thursday December 8th. Received a call from Sunrise VW and the told me the car was ready to go. They even put 25$ worth of fuel in the tank. I will always refer my friends and people to sunrise Volkswagen. They do customer service right the first time! Thank you John Baessell and John Turk, you both are great people. More

They put a defective tire on my car and are refusing to replace it unless I pay for it. The balance on the other tire was off but instead of checking it I got excuses regarding the kind of balance that was replace it unless I pay for it. I’ve had to go back repeatedly for alignment and tire issues and I just broke 12000 miles. I had to go to an independent shop and get them to document the radial pull in one of the new tires but now looking back I’m sure they knew it was a bad tire. I came in for an oil change and to rotate my old tires back to the front because the handling was awful with the defect. I pulled up to service and was greeted by a service writer other than John, the service manager whom I was trying to get to do something about the tires. He avoided me the entire visit. I’ve completely changed my opinion of this establishment. I no longer feel comfortable servicing my vehicle there. More
