John is a man who enjoys the simple things. A nice cigar, some good Barbeque, and a motorcycle cruise. He feels in his element at a cigar lounge, working on a motorcycle, and apparently, on stage. If John didn’t have this job, he thinks he would be a Male Revue Dancer. Although we’ve never seen his dance moves, if you’ve seen John, you know he is constantly on the move taking care of customers in our service department.

I had originally called the dealership where it was purchased and the best they said they could do was schedule it for next Wednesday. I called Bob Hook and talked to John Gahimer, Service Advisor. While he first explained that they were all booked up today, when I explained my situation, he immediately said to bring it in and at least let them take a look. When I arrived at Bob Hook, John was very friendly and professional with me. I had explained what I thought the issue was and he said to go ahead and pull it in. He showed me around the dealership so I need where coffee, restrooms, etc. were. They were able to fix the problem and have me out the door in under 1.5 hours. I could not have asked for a better experience and so appreciative of John going over and above to at least look at the vehicle. I would highly recommend Bob Hook and if you need service, John is your man!!!!! More

Needed services done on my vehicle Family has bought from Bob Hook for over 30 years, the staff goes above and beyond to ensure that you and your vehicle are taken care of. I had a proc Family has bought from Bob Hook for over 30 years, the staff goes above and beyond to ensure that you and your vehicle are taken care of. I had a procedure all question about my windo switch and John in service explained it very throughly to me and now I know how to trouble shoot it myself. I've said it once and I'll say it again. If you want a genuine Chevy experience, pleasant staff and no pressure go to Bob Hook and no where else. More

Hate being teamed up with him. My first time there, I had to get an oil change. I was there for 2-3 hours. The employee told me it has to take that long because of warranty reasons. My first time there, I had to get an oil change. I was there for 2-3 hours. The employee told me it has to take that long because of warranty reasons. Found out later that was a total lie. Time after that i went for a button on my steering wheel breaking off. The guy said he glued it back on and it's fine.. Thing is, my car was brand new, why are you going to glue on a broken piece? So I left there and on my way home, turned the wheel and the button popped back off. he just laid it on there. They then had to order a new piece because I complained. Everytime I visit and get teamed up with John it's just a hassle. Mainly because of how he speaks to me. One day I dropped my car off and several hours later was about to pick it up and he called me up speaking babyish saying he's so so sorry because they ordered the wrong part and need to keep my car another day. Gave me a rental car, but when I went back to drop it off. the rental car place wanted to charge me because John didn't tell them it was covered because it was their error. When that was settled (John didn't answer the phone, but the rental place took my word for it). They dropped me off at the dealership and John didn't speak a word to me. Then the other day I was there and like always he calls me by the wrong name. Which is my exs last name. I correct him every single time and he doesn't really apologize. Just looks at me with a blank stare and says they'll correct it. I am married to someone else, and have been for almost two years. I do not want to be called by my exs last name. I even asked for new wipers. He told me they'd be what would equal to $55. When mine were disposed of and the new ones installed. Came out to be $85. John was no where to be seen. I've been thinking about trading my car in and buying something newer, but I hate dealing with that service shop. More
