I went to the service for an estimate after an accident. John did a good job of determining the fix, providing a solution and a dead nuts accurate time estimate. AJ was absolutely wonderful walking me through each step of the way. He made this such a positive experience from choosing the right vehicle for me, financing, insurance, new plates to picking it up. If I had to purchase another car I would definitely contact AJ and this dealership. Everyone I met at this dealership was friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in to well I won't say till I left as our relationship has not ended. I am always satisfied with the service I receive at Platinum VW and my most recent visit is no exception. I called for service and was given an appointment the next day, and was greeted and moved along Platinum VW and my most recent visit is no exception. I called for service and was given an appointment the next day, and was greeted and moved along quickly upon arrival. John Grossman, a Service Advisor, is always helpful, honest, and just overall great to deal with. One of the best parts about going to Platinum is that they do keep the customer in mind, and do their best to get you in and out quickly, with status updates along the way. Going to Platinum is just another reminder about why I love owning a VW! I truly feel fortunate to be able to bring my car to a service place that I can trust and that I know I will have a pleasant experience. More

I took my car to Platinum Volkswagen on Saturday Jan 27th 2012 for service. They have a great service department. I bought my car at Sunrise VW but there service is substandard.If you want your car fixed rig 2012 for service. They have a great service department. I went to Platinum VW for my service because I was tired of going out of my way to my usual dealer. The customer service was exceptional. They were able to accomidate me immediately despite me having no pri of going out of my way to my usual dealer. The customer service was exceptional. They were able to accomidate me immediately despite me having no prior business or appointment. After a routine inspection and some minor recall adjustments my car is running better than ever. I was expecting (since I hadn't gotten my car serviced in some time) that I would have a pretty heafty bill. That was not the case, the price I got was way under what I expected! The customer service rep informed me that I will be needing new tires soon. I am very satisfied with Plantium and will be purchasing four new tires from them in future as well as any future automobile purchases. I highly recommend them!! They are promt, extremely helpful, and friendly!! More

Lou is one of the most accomodating salesmen I have ever dealt with. Besides making every effort to make a very easy purchase, he is an extremely pleasant person to do with business with. Our 2009 Jetta w dealt with. Besides making every effort to make a very easy purchase, he is an extremely pleasant person to do with business with. Our 2009 Jetta was purchased for my daughter as her 17th birthday present and she could not have been more thrilled with it and the experience of being treated as an "adult" by Lou. As for the service department, we have used them twice, once for an oil change and the second time for a recall. Both visits were done quickly and efficiently with very easy to deal with personnel. More

On January 26th, just before another huge snowstorm was about to hit Long Island, and in the middle of a rainstorm, my windshield wipers stopped working. I called and asked if I could come in on an emerge about to hit Long Island, and in the middle of a rainstorm, my windshield wipers stopped working. I called and asked if I could come in on an emergency basis as my 2009 VW Passat is my only car. I was told to come right in even though it was already 3 p. I was welcomed by John Grossman, a service consultant who reassured me that my problem would be resolved. John also noticed that my inspection was overdue by one month. My wipers began to work as soon as the car was taken into the garage. It would have been very easy for John to have pretended to fix a motor that wasn't damaged. He didn't do this; he simply said, "I can't fix something that's not broken." John was extremely kind and patient with me. I was extremely nervous when I came in and he calmed me down. He even called me on my cell phone when I (in a panic) couldn't find it. I had come in once before to this service center ( it was over a year ago) with a similar emergency: my engine light was on but my temperature gauge was fine. I was going on a trip the next day and was afraid to use the car. John allowed me to come in without an appointment and he looked at my car, topped off the fluids and sent me on my way. I had always gone to the Lynbrook dealership for service but I will change now to Hicksville as I was made to feel so welcome and so comfortable. I do hope you will commend John for a wonderful job. I walked into the service station without an appointment, and i was seen immediately by a consultant. It had been raining and one of my wiper blades had gone bad. Within 5 minutes, the consultant (John) was and i was seen immediately by a consultant. It had been raining and one of my wiper blades had gone bad. Within 5 minutes, the consultant (John) was outside in the rain checking to see if maybe it was a quick fix. Turns out i needed more than just a blade but John assured me it would be fixed in no time at all. They offered me some coffee, i grabbed a newspaper and within an hour my car was ready. I gave high reviews because of the outstanding customer service. More
