Blown engine with regular maintenance I purchased a used 2011 Sonata a little under a year ago for my daughter. While my daughter was driving on the parkway, the engine turned off. We had I purchased a used 2011 Sonata a little under a year ago for my daughter. While my daughter was driving on the parkway, the engine turned off. We had Atlantic Hyundai tow it back to their shop, which is where we bought the vehicle. after a few day, I was told that the engine seized due to fault maintenance. My daughter changed the oil in this care at 2500 miles or below throughout the year she owned it. I was told that because we didn't have the extended warrantee, that we would have to replace the engine at a cost of $6700. I told them about the oil changes but it didn't matter. sorry, nothing we can do. I had the car towed to my mechanic to have a second look at it. the oil in the pan was clean but had tons of metal shavings in it. He called a friend of his at a different Hyundai dealership and was told that they have been replacing 1 or 2 engines a week on this model. So I decided to Google 2011 Hyundai engine seize. dozens of people on just 1 site had the same problem. I have since had to rent a car for my daughter to go to school while I see what legal options I have. Hopefully this review helps anyone looking to buy a used car. I thought by buying a Hyundai, that I was getting a quality car backed up by a trust worthy dealership. I was wrong. More

A customer for 11 years and counting I just leased a 2015 Santa Fe after driving one since 2004. He will explain everything in great detail. He will take the time to make your sales experience not just pleasurable but memorable. He will always get my referrals and personal business. In addition John Grosso in service is another fine example of the quality in staffing at this dealership. John is another professional that makes servicing the vehicle a pleasure. He takes the time to review any unforeseen issues and there are no surprises to the experience. Both these two gentleman put the customer FIRST! Great Experience I couldn't be happier with the service I received at Atlantic Hyundai. From the moment I walked in the door to the second I pulled out of the lot in I couldn't be happier with the service I received at Atlantic Hyundai. From the moment I walked in the door to the second I pulled out of the lot in my new 2014 Sante Fe. The salesman I delt with, Richard Shire, was more than helpful, he was extremely patient and helped me to make the best decision with my new car. He made sure that I got the exact car I wanted at the best possible price and was great when it came to trading in my old vehicle. Once my choice was made, Rich took the time to thoroughly explain the new technology and features my car included and made sure I was completely satisfied with my purchase before all was said and done. I felt no pressure what so ever, by far the best car searching/buying experience I've ever had. I had another wonderful experience with John Grosso as he also went above and beyond to make sure my car buying experience was nothing but great. He also worked hard toward getting me the exact car I wanted at the best price and also the best possible price for my trade in vehicle. I am overall extremely happy and satisfied with my experience at Atlantic Hyundai and I have Rich and John to thank for that. More

Finished up in finance with Roldy Jeaniouis. The entire experience was pleasant, no gimmicks, no tricks, no pressure! A great eperience all around! More

The reason that I keep going back is John Grosso! He is the best service advisor .i have ever dealt with in over 30 years of car ownership. I have always been happy with the service and treatment I receice at Atlantic Hyundai. This is my 3rd Hyundai and my husband is on his 2nd. As long as Atlantic maintains their current level of customer service, we will continue to drive Hyundais. I tell everyone to go to the Atlantic Auto Mall and to see John Grosso! More

From the first Hyundai I leased from Al Levinger to Dave & Dan Toomey they all worked very hard to get me the car I wanted at the price I wanted to pay. This is the third new car I've bought from Atlantic Hyundai. The first car was a 2008 Hyundai Elantra. The second car was a 2010 Hyundai Sonata. I liked both cars and they performed well. I just leased Hyundai. The first car was a 2008 Hyundai Elantra. The second car was a 2010 Hyundai Sonata. I liked both cars and they performed well. I just leased a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. Based on my past experiences at this dealership, I'm sure I will be very happy with my new car. The sales person who sold me the car was Jonathan Pelc. It was a pleasure working with Jonathan. He took his time to explain all the features of the car and answered all my questions. He has a very nice personality and is very professional. When my three year lease is over, I will work with Jonathan again and lease another new car from Atlantic Hyundai. One of the reasons I keep coming back to Atlantic Hyundai is their service department. They are the best! John Grosso, Carlos Fuentes and Joe Romeo ( Who is now in the Nissin service department ) have always taken care of me. They are all very nice, friendly and very professional. Irv Plastock More
