The service department at Parks Ford is deceptive and predatory. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I took my car in for service, and the repair estimate was $189 on the intake form. They had m predatory. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I took my car in for service, and the repair estimate was $189 on the intake form. They had me sign the intake form which stated that I didn't need a written estimate if REPAIRS did not exceed $469. I was then told that repairs would be over $1000, and when I asked about the parts and labor breakdown, I was told the part was over $500; I found the same MotorCraft (Ford) part at an auto parts store for $162. Then I was told that replacing that part might not fix the problem and an additional $1300 repair would be necessary. Needless to say, I did not have them do the repairs. Also, they informed me that the so-called diagnostics charge would not be included in the total repair costs, although there was NOTHING in the intake form that disclosed the separate diagnostic costs; it only showed estimate of REPAIRS. John Kidd got my work van in the shop quickly to get brakes and an oil change done and back on the road. Just had my 21 Mustang GT serviced at Parks Ford. John Kidd was excellent and provided premier customer service to me. Loved talking to him about his experience with Foxbody mustangs. My service advisor, John Kidd has been amazing. It's nice to know that I can come in and have someone know you by first name basis and remember your occupation and say something pertaining to that It's nice to know that I can come in and have someone know you by first name basis and remember your occupation and say something pertaining to that - He makes it feel personal and makes you feel important. He is friendly and courteous; His professionalism and knowledge puts your mind at ease knowing that he's taking care of you. I had warranty work and a new wheel bearing done on my truck. The wheel bearing was back ordered, but service advisor John Kidd went above and beyond taking care of me. He made sure I had a loaner vehicle truck. The wheel bearing was back ordered, but service advisor John Kidd went above and beyond taking care of me. 2 years after the purchase of our truck, we just bought our second vehicle. While using the maintenance department we’ve had the pleasure of having John Kidd as our service advisor.
