I reached John McCorkel on the phone when I saw a used Hyundai Sonata online that I was interested. He met me 30 minutes later and let me test drive it. They brought back small things that would be potential issues down the road, but John had his mechanic fix some of them. I didn't trust PepBoys to give me a solid "OK", so I brought it to a Goodyear that I trust and they told me it was the best used car inspection they've done and that I should definitely buy it. John even dropped the price a bit to make it easier on me since I'm going to college next year. He's not just trying to make a sale, he keeps his clients away from the cars that he knows they won't want. I hate when dealers try to sucker me into leases and ugly cars that no one has bought for a reason. I would really recommend getting in touch with him if you're interested in a car from here because he's not the typical annoying and sketchy car salesman. More

I stopped at Inver Grove Honda at the recommendation of a friend. I was looking to purchase a new vehicle that would give me more fuel efficiency than the vehicle I was driving. Due to a poor credit situation I knew I was not going to be an easy customer to satisfy. I worked with John McCorkel who talked to me about my options and was very honest and did not push me into something that I didn't need nor could afford. He was extremely friendly and helpful. When it came to financing I worked with Ann LaPointe who was excellent in understanding my credit history and my situation with my trade in. It was an outstanding experience to not feel pressured and to walk away more than satisfied with my overall experience. I ended up purchasing the last 2012 Honda Accord that Inver Grove Honda had. John met me at the showroom door, introduced himself and made me feel welcome. He listened to my car requirements and quickly located units in stock that met those requirements. I came to Inver Honda needing a hard to find new car as quickly as possible. It is by far the best mini-van, of three, we've owned to date. It is good looking, well designed and surprisingly useful at a wide range of tasks: Around town, trips, with protective tarping, finding it also useful for a wide range of yard tasks including hauling mulch for landscaping and tree plantings. With the tarp installed in the back and the seats stored can fill the back safely with mulch, using four 5-gallon pails to hold up the corners of the tarp. Also using the same rigging, haul 39-gallon cans of yard waste to our county recycling yards. Found that filling it with Premium gas gave us a whole new van. This Odyssey has a five-speed transmission and three mode "eco" allowing the load sensing sub-system to run on three, four or all six of its 3.5 liter V-6. Only on Premium does it spend more time in the "eco" modes, which include the three and four cylinders running. John took a fair bit of time going through the van, going over the details of owning and operating it, answering each of our questions thoroughly and clearly. Never hesitated looking up answers that, though he didn't know immediately, knew who to go to in the dealership. The rest of the members of the dealership were like John, open, friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our time spent with them and recommend them to any who would like to shop for well designed, well made vehicles from a world class manufacturer. I brought my Honda Element in for service (oil change, inspection and tire rotation). I was greeted at the door by John McCorkel and Sharon.
