Great place to BUY crummy service. I would highly recommend Kernersville cdjr to PURCHASE a vehicle, that experience was great. Now when it comes to service dept with warranty work forg I would highly recommend Kernersville cdjr to PURCHASE a vehicle, that experience was great. Now when it comes to service dept with warranty work forget it I'll never take my truck or my wife's durango to them ever again! Strike 1 put me on a 10 month waiting list for recalled water pump, I found out later that they were replacing the pumps on all the trucks that were on the lot first before they started on actual trucks being used. 2 wks later took my wife's car to another dealership for oil change and talked to them about water pump and waiting list, they said that was crazy, they ordered pump and replaced within 3 days. Strike 2 had recall on clearance lights on top of cab for moisture, they refused to do it cause I had changed bulbs and claimed I cracked them, took truck back to previous dealer and they replaced no questions. Today Strike 3 took truck to Kernersville for water in the passenger side head light, pulled in garage guy walked over advised him of issue and he said that is normal (yes it may be normal but not supposed to be like that) and then he asked if I wanted him to get me a price for a new headlight, I said no the truck is still under warranty. He said no that is not covered. Why are my clearance lights covered due to moisture but not my headlights? That pisses me off to no end.. So went to the other dealer they were unable to do anything on Saturday due warranty handler was off but stated that they would make a claim and get it replaced. My opinion is Kernersville only wants the sale doesn't want to do any of the after work unless it's an oil change. More

Appalling service experience Absolutely appalled and in shock! My wife and I have ALWAYS referred people to this dealership and were planning on our next purchase from them until Absolutely appalled and in shock! My wife and I have ALWAYS referred people to this dealership and were planning on our next purchase from them until our recent experience. I am posting this here for all to see and following up in several forums to see if any will resolve this prior to my contacting Chrysler corporation and seeking legal advice for small claims. I am betting they will not though if they do I will update my comments and give credit if it is due! We are a Chrysler family and one of our vehicles, a 2005 Chrysler 300, quite running. Vehicle was towed there as we were heading out of town on vacation and I authorized repairs "up to $1000" while I was gone. The mechanic found a broken timing belt due to a socket being left behind during a recent change (our fault NOT theirs), and a dinged up cam sprocket. Mind you this is an interference engine......They completed those repairs and naturally the car wouldn't start. They remove the intake plenum and spark plugs and said that every piston was hit and one punctured. We were given the option of a used engine at a cost greater than the value of the car. Every place we called said they would have looked in the cylinders FIRST as any internal damage and nothing but a rebuild or replacement would fix. When my wife went in and spoke to them about the bill the service adviser told her it was cheaper the way they serviced the car....REALLY??? She asked why when the belt was found to be broken, why didn't they look in the cylinders for damage FIRST before anything else...They said they didn't have a camera....REALLY?? My wife asked then how did they look in AFTER the repairs? The service manager acted like a complete unprofessional, threw his hands up in the air, slammed them on the desk and informed her "THIS CONVERSATION IS OVER!". When my wife tried to get the general manager, she was told "Oh he is a floater and not here and looks after several dealerships". This is how you treat customers loyal to a brand and dealership???? I could understand a couple hours of labor to find that the belt is broken, then remove the upper plenum and spark plugs to bore-scope the cylinders, but what we were charged was NOT reasonable, and according to the other Chrysler dealerships we called and every mechanic we spoke to, with an interference engine it should have been bore-scoped FIRST when the belt was broken. I will bet the Chrysler corporation agrees..... Dealerships wonder why people try to avoid them for service, and this is why. More

We had taken it the shop several times but no one could figure out the problem. The " check engine" light came on and we ended up at Kernersville Chrysler Dodge Jeep. They only had my jeep for about 5 hrs and we left with it running as smooth as the day I bought it. Just been a couple of hours but we are really pleased. More

Very bad luck or sneaky dealer? I bought a used 2009 dodge ram for $28k. And started having problems immediately. I'm stuck in Tx with a $9000. Repair bill less than a month after m I bought a used 2009 dodge ram for $28k. And started having problems immediately. I'm stuck in Tx with a $9000. Repair bill less than a month after my purchase and they are not willing to help me at all. Even after this repair the truck will still need $2000 worth of work to make it right. there is no way the transmission, rear end, turbo, air conditioning, and wheel sensor all decided to fail at the same time. I believe they sold me the truck knowing it had issues. More
