Service took too long The dealer had my car from Wednesday through the next Monday. When they called and said it wouldn’t be ready till Tuesday, I objected. After $2600 for repairs I told them I needed to Uber to pick it up. Upon picking it up the car squealed upon taking it from the lot. I called the next day to say I would probably be bringing it in again due to this new noise. I get the impression that the dealership has limited Acura mechanics on duty and more Subaru mechanics. If I could find another meachanic to fix my car I would. More

6000 mi check After driving for 90 minutes from my home, I pulled into the “Accelerated Service” lane after being refused on the phone for an appointment. Then I’m After driving for 90 minutes from my home, I pulled into the “Accelerated Service” lane after being refused on the phone for an appointment. Then I’m told it would be 2 hours. For an oil change????? “Accelerated Service” is yet another oxymoron like fast food, jumbo shrimp, fun run etc. It isn’t that they didn’t do a good job but I could have gone down the street at home to Jiffy Lube & been out in 15 min. To be fair there was a software update needed & that added some time. More

Replace battery After two trips to your service department and two services from AAA it was finally decided that I needed a new battery. I think the battery should have been checked out on my first visit and replaced at that time. I came in the first time because when AAA started it the first time I had a warning message on my screen that said “remote was not recognized and if I turned off the car it may not start.” Take car to Acura service. Just as an FYI, I love that a curtsey car wash is done upon service if desired. Problem is they don’t wipe the car dry so there are water marks all over the body and windows. I have to wash the car again to remove the water marks created by your wash. More attention to drying the vechicle after you wash it would be appreciated. More
