Dishonest I used a new credit card to put a deposit on a car, drove up with a bank check and all papers needed to seal the deal. On arrival, five different line I used a new credit card to put a deposit on a car, drove up with a bank check and all papers needed to seal the deal. On arrival, five different line items we're pricier than promised, and I was pressured to take a deal that was worse than any dealer or Internet quote I showed. The sale was not going to happen, 'nobody present knew how to refund the $500 charge, but I was to be refunded the next day.' Day after day, the refund failed to appear. We had to call the credit card company to contest the charge. During this time our credit card number was leaked to another country, where 63 false charges were placed before the account was frozen. I am suspicious of this coincidence. More
