John Sherman in service as always was polite and informative as to what was going on with my repairs. The last few visits the wait was ridiculously long and actually went into the next day. Thank Go informative as to what was going on with my repairs. The last few visits the wait was ridiculously long and actually went into the next day. Thank God for the great shuttle driver, Chet. It’s always a pleasure to ride with him. We are considering changing over to a Ford for our next vehicle. More

My first new car purchase at the age of 20 was at Hutchens Chevrolet, which is now proudly owned and operated by Priority Chevrolet (at this Jefferson Avenue location now). As my journey through Hutchens Chevrolet, which is now proudly owned and operated by Priority Chevrolet (at this Jefferson Avenue location now). As my journey through life unfolded, and my family grew, this dealership has kept us safely and securely on the road. Outstanding service department. well staffed with 'old' and 'new' faces, and John Sherman always makes sure everything I request or need is addressed. Several times things that we needed beyond my awareness, and was so glad his team enlightened me, as I am very attentive to detail. I am fortunate to have a personal relationship with many of the service team members, Eddie Ausura for over 30+ years, his son David, who is on the team, and his son-in-law Matt also on the team. There are others I could list as well. My first new business vehicle purchase there, in 1992 was an Astro van, now with over 506,000 actual miles on the original engine, still in use daily. No oil needed between changes. Seriously. I could go on. From Parts, and Service they have kept me and my family on the road for over 50 years! Now to my most recent purchase, a very unique limited run Chevrolet, very difficult to find, and it was right there, on Priority's Lot, which I had searched for over a year and a half for just the right one, much less finding one. Again, much more to this story beyond this medium's allowance. However, I can only say, that my long time friend and sales rep, Dan Macklin, who was at Hutchens back in 1972, when I bought my first Nova SS, was right there with me, every step, to secure this deal. Dan introduced me to George Mastermaker, who opened 'doors' (beyond dealership physical doors) for me, extended a personal hand of friendship (beyond these words), and made this more than just about purchasing a car. This was a family event, that many may recognize as such, and appreciate, but added a depth to this very special event for me. This was more than just a combination of metal, materials, fabric, gas and oil. Immediately, upon our initial discussions, this unique vehicle was taken to John Sherman, (long time friend and wealth of experience in the automotive industry) then to Eddie (Mr GM himself) for a thorough second bumper to bumper (I asked for this, and they know me). I could go on, but will conclude this reflection, which allows me to look back on an such an event that was beyond a vehicle purchase. Every element of the Priority experience was well executed, personal, and in reflection, very special to me at this moment in time. Dan Macklin (after taking care of every detail) had the car set aside for my pickup, in a very special setting. Perfectly clean, sitting to the side in a quiet spot, to the North of the Showroom, where he and I had a chance to stand side by side, reflect, and have a picture taken together with the car in the background, that exemplified what 50 years of dedication and passion for vehicles can offer beyond just a dollar amount. Dan reached out to me (more than once) in the following days to insure all was well. George in turn took the time to bring personal outreach to me as well. The "You can have it all" was more than exceeded by this team of awesome people, from the showroom to the 'go' room. That is the difference with any business. PEOPLE. Our journey continues! More

I go for a routine oil and filter change. While there, I asked them to fix the tire in the trunk because I had no spare. They assured me they would. I needed it done because on Friday, I was taking a 7 hour trip to Jersey to be with my mom and help with the repast arrangements for my dad's funeral. When I got my car back, I noticed my spare tire was still on the vehicle so I immediately called back and asked them about the tire in the trunk. He asked me to hold and when he came back, he assured me it was fixed. I asked again to repeat because my paperwork mentions nothing of a spare tire in trunk being fixed. So the very next day, I get the unexpected, a flat tire, go to get the tire in trunk, still flat. Furious. It's 5pm, I have 2 flat tires. And they charged me to fix a tire in which nothing was absolutely wrong with. I literally had to purchase 2 used tires from the nearest garage. I called furious, just for them to tell me that I can bring back the vehicle, that the earliest appointment they had was next week but that they can squeeze me in the next morning. For what? By now, the manager which was a female, is explaining that they would like to look at the car to see what they can do. Now I'm even more furious, because I had to be on the road by 8am to make it to my mom's by 4pm. I literally told them I did not have 3-4 hours to sit at their shop. And asked, why did I need to go back. I already had to purchase 2 tires just so I can get my car back on the road. What can you guys really want to look at? All I want is my money back. My $67 for fixing a tire that did not need to be fixed. For lying. That's it. After going back and forth, they told me I would get a check in mail for $67 dollars. It would take 5-10 business days. It's 20 days later, and still no check. I called Friday, March 11, to be put on hold for 20 minutes. Literally could here someone pick up phone and immediately put me on hold again. After 4 times of being put on hold. I put them on hold, called again and spoke to whoever answered phone for her to tell me the service manager will call me back, that he is terribly busy at the moment and away from his desk. Suffice to say. This my last Chevy I will ever drive. Was planning on keeping it for another year or so but at this point, I rather just trade it in and get something else. Disgusted with their service. Sadly, they offer great service when buying the car, they go out of their way to make you comfortable, but then the service department will ruin the experience. Another sad affair is that I've been using them for 1 year and a half with no problems up until now. More
