I ordered a new 2022 Maverick from Elder Ford and the salesman that took the order was not with the dealership when delivered. On April 18,2022, I purchased a used Ford F-450 at the Elder Ford of Tampa. I was received and treated with poor service by John Weicherding at the dealership. When I did the walk around the truck, there Elder Ford of Tampa. I was received and treated with poor service by John Weicherding at the dealership. When I did the walk around the truck, there were a few things missing (rugs,headrest,extra key) from the truck and expressed them to Mr. Weicherding. The answer given to me that it was nothing they can do since that’s how they sale it. I was disappointed at the purchased process since it was rushed, ruched,rushed and unnecessary comments of how long my wife was taking to add the truck to our insurance. Also for the financial representative Brian, he did not understand about the apportioned plates and being sarcastic of what I was telling him. He was still lost even when his manager came to explain about the plates. I questioned their off road insurance, however his answer was that I did a lot of money. Regardless of how much I make, there is no reason for Brian to make sarcastic comments. The only person that stood out for me was a Hispanic gentleman over in parts that helped me to get the rugs, since I was asked him if they have it. Mr, Weicherding said during the walk around that they did not have at the dealership. When the Hispanic gentleman over in parts brought me the rugs, Mr. Weicherding and a Magee of sales got upset and their expressions changed. Then, they told me that if I gave them a good review, they would help me to get another key, since the truck has only one. As soon as I got home with the truck, I noticed the front glass was cracked. They hid the cracked glass with a Ford sticker. After paying $74,000 for a used truck, I expected to have rugs, headrest, an extra key, the gps and bluetooth cleared ( they had the previous owner info). I am very disappointed and shocked from what happened. The situation was very irritating. Elder Ford of Tampa needs to educate and display better customer service. More

Got a good deal on my vehicle but the salesman I dealt with needs some help in having better customer service skills. I felt like I was reaching out more to him than he was to me. Jennifer was fantastic. Really good. So was the rental guy. Everyone is super friendly. I give the front end 5 stars. The repair department not so good. My car is currently Really good.
