We had a “VIP “ appointment scheduled for 2:30p.m. We had dealt with Jordon the internet rep. I let the receptionist know we were here. When I told her we had been dealing with Jordon, she said there should dealt with Jordon the internet rep. I let the receptionist know we were here. After a few minutes Gauge approached us and said he would be helping us. We said fine, he then started asking questions and filling out a form. I interrupted him and said we had assumed that we would be seeing a purchase agreement and that we had already shared all information he was asking. He said he wasn’t aware of this and didn’t see a file packet on us. Gauge appeared to be trying hard to pull things together, but it was clear there was a failure to communicate internally. More

The one thing I found really disturbing was that we did not know anything about the additional warranty services offered until dealing with finance and the final paperwork. We had always assumed that extended warrenty options would be made available at a later date. Those options should have been discussed prior so we weren't forced to make a decision at the last minute. More

Internet price was competitive without the usual dickering involved with the Twin Cities Toyota dealerships (that alone was worth the drive). Fair offer on my trade as well. Only real downside was getting the whole extended warranty pitch from the finance person, even after my very clearly stating up front I was not interested (respect the customer please). Still he got through the rest of the process reasonably fast. Salesperson was friendly and helpful but not especially knowledgeable about the vehicle I was interested in (which wasn’t a drawback for me as I’d done my research). As FYI in covid times, be prepared to take the test drive with the salesperson (windows down on a cold day, the times we live in...) Have no service experience with the dealer, so can’t comment there. Still a reasonably good overall experience as compared to others, but be prepared to endure the whole extended warranty theatrics. More
