We appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear Jorge kept you informed throughout the process. We do, however, want to clarify an important part of today’s vehicle diagnostic procedures. Modern Hyundai vehicles are highly advanced, and in certain cases, Hyundai requires dealerships to document findings and involve Hyundai Techline as part of the manufacturer’s repair and diagnostic process. This is not an indication of a lack of skill or knowledge within the shop — quite the opposite. These procedures are put in place by the manufacturer to ensure repairs are completed accurately, safely, and according to Hyundai’s engineering standards while also properly documenting concerns to protect the consumer. Intermittent misfires and oil intrusion concerns can sometimes require extended testing and manufacturer-guided verification before repairs are authorized and completed. While we understand the timeframe may have been frustrating, the goal was to ensure the vehicle was diagnosed correctly rather than rushing a repair without proper validation.
